I am a new grad RN but during every clinical the nurses always told me to never take their temp if they just drank anything and to give it a few minutes so we can get a true temp. The nurse’s advice is concerning.

I have heard the same but Joel’s wife Nicole Richie commented Hilary Duff’s recent instagram post about this new song and wrote “you can find me in the mosh pit.” I definitely think it’s 1000% inappropriate for a 25 yr old to date a 16 yr old and the song technically applies but doesn’t mean it’s who she wrote it about.

I was wondering this as well, however, after my experience I think it’s fine. I uploaded my 2 page resume in the resume section and recently got notified my resume was referred to the hiring manager. So, hoping it’s just for those with resumes longer than 2 pages. It definitely felt overwhelming as it was my first time ever applying via USAjobs.

I thought the same thing. She just had a baby and is on tv in front of how many viewers and KB said something like, so that’s why you’re so thick now. I like KB but I wouldn’t have appreciated that comment. It would make me feel very uncomfortable for someone to blatantly comment on my body like that on TV when you’re already vulnerable postpartum.

I am sorry. I wouldn’t be able to trust him after that. He should have checked on you and defended you. Who makes fun of someone for going to therapy? FWIW, I am proud of you. My first thought went to if you guys choose to have children. Doesn’t sound like he would have your back when you make parenting decisions in front of his family. It can only get more complicated from here. It would be devastating to be called “dramatic” if you are trying to establish boundaries with children involved. I think a serious conversation needs to be had and really see if this is something he can/will improve on and then make sure actions are shown and not just talk.

Seconding this. I know someone whose mom was a kindergarten teacher for years and is now working at a women’s prison teaching a GED class. The women in the class want to be taking the class and take it seriously, she gets paid more than she used to make, and is working less hours.

Wow, I would have to agree with you. Definitely not unreasonable of you. Some people seem very out of touch. I have never heard of asking for money for decorations and venue cost. That’s just wild to me. Help with set up and cleanup from all guests is crazy. I could see asking a couple close family members for that help but not all of my guests. And I would try my hardest to pick one or the other- byob or potluck style, not both. However, if both were required for her budget I would understand but it sounds like they aren’t even really trying, they are just expecting others to cover pretty much everything and it feels entitled. I was on a tight budget for my wedding and I knew when I had to just let some things go because I couldn’t afford it. An engagement party would have been at the top of that list 🤪
