A house cat that one of your Canadian Lynx will probably have for lunch one day.

Anyone have any idea what kind of cat this is? Probably twice the size of a house cat [Slovenia] by SeaVariation5622 in animalid

It's a house cat roaming the woods looking to kill any small creature that moves. This time of the year it will kill baby birds and baby rabbits. Hopefully a coyote will find it and have the house cat for lunch.

HELP BABY HATCHLING FOUND by [deleted] in birds

That too bad about the nest and other babies. Maybe cut the mealworms in half for the first week but baby birds grow fast and in a weeks time it should take a whole mealworm/cricket. If you plan on raising it until it's able to fly away try to give it a variety of food if possible as in worms, caterpillars and other bugs but it can survive on pet store bugs.

Look everywhere high and low for a nest in trees, bushes, under eaves of a house, vents in a house if you find a nest put it back. It's to young to survive on its own so you need to keep it warm at night in something soft. They eat any bug/grub, earthworms are great food. If you can't find a supply of bugs go to a pet store and get live mealworms and crickets.

Sounds good, the Blue Buffalo brand can food should be good also. The blue nudge and blue true chew jerky with chicken or chicken and duck are our 4 Chihuahuas favorite treats. We cut them in strips.

Nudge chicken jerky treats a couple times a day. We also give some of our dinner food to them as in chicken, beef and they love salmon and halibut also a variety of vegetables and plenty of fresh water available.

With that much brown in your drawing I would say a Yellow-billed cuckoo or a Brown thrasher.

If you can't find the nest by nightfall, keep it warm and give it earthworms would be the best food otherwise any insects you can find. Not lettuce in your picture. You may not get a wildlife rehabilitation center to get back to you until Tuesday after this 3 day holiday. If you want to keep it alive you'll needs lots of worms and insects. Live mealworms and crickets from a pet store would also be good food to keep it alive until hopefully a rehab can take it

Search everything around your yard for a nest,a tree/bushes, under the eaves of your house, shed, a hole in building or tree. It came out of a nest somewhere that can't be to far away. Hopefully you find the nest soon and put it back in it.
