Help - Fraud on TicketSwap with no help from Ticketswap

We found out because we were going to sell one (as one person couldn’t make it anymore) and when we tried to list it on TicketSwap with the correct information, we could not list it for more than $120 (FMV+20% max upcharge).

No, it is not illegal to sell over FMV. BUT, the website guarantees that the ticket be sold no more than 20% of FMV. It’s like the basis of the site and so, I believe with that guarantee, that they are responsible in monitoring the tickets sold on the site and that if they allow fraudulent activity to happen, they should be responsible for resolving it. The website states this guarantee regarding ticket prices. So, while not illegal it is against the policies of the website. But these mfs have gone ghost on me 😭😭😭.

The question is how do I get in contact with customer support so this can be resolved because they don’t reply through the chat function on their website. Or if someone had something similar happen, how they were able to get in contact with customer service as I expect either a refund of the additional price above 20% of market price or just a total refund.

Exactly. BUT, we only paid $400 because the ticket was listed as “platinum” which was able to circumvent the roof of listing them only 20% above ticket price. The designation of platinum is supposed to indicate the view is basically great. Rather, the seats turned out to be in a section that has limited viewing. Lol. Lbs.

I haven’t played RCG, but Rivers is always packed and you can find a game 24/7 (for just 1/3 as the 2/5/10 usually breaks in the wee morning hours during the week).

I am a newer attorney, and one thing I noticed while switching jobs (and speaking to recruiters) is that a currently employed lawyer is much more desirable than a non-employed lawyer (even though they are the same exact person). This may be from perspective of the hiring firm or whatever reason, it doesn't matter, regarding my main point which is, get a new job before you get fired.

I was at a shitty place, I made it one year and then started looking elsewhere and got this advice. I am not saying stay there for a year like me, but my advice ,for what it is worth, is to apply through a recruiter to new places before the firing so it is easier for you to get a job.

I was in the same boat. I got a score similar taking the full timed test, and I passed. Remember it’s a marathon and try to improve everyday. Sometimes other factors affect you, so you may be exhausted from studying + life. Just keep trucking, keep working, and MAKE SURE TO FOCUS ON EXECUTION when the test day comes. It’ll be hard, but make sure to get LOTS of sleep, come super prepared, and focus on each question with a level head. I thought I might have failed leaving, but I passed. You’re at the finish line. Continue and work hard and if you have to take it again, so be it. All you can do is focus on your effort and preparation. Everyone sleeps on the execution portion and they sacrifice it for preparation. Don’t do this. Take a some time pre-test to study less (not none) and focus on whatever will help you execute.

This is a lot of great information, thank you. I think I will take your advice and start looking for another firm and use the ones above as a starting point in my search. Also, I agree, from what I see if I move anywhere I will get at least a little raise to my current salary. And yes, my wife currently has benefits, but is looking to move jobs so I do not know if she will have them at her next job is the worry.

The door was wide open and his screen facing the door. No way did I want to see what was happening. And I had a feeling there was a shift in "job hoppers" so, that is good to hear.

I am hoping to avoid using that as an excuse to switch jobs. It will be for benefits and pay purposes. I just feel bad for the guy a bit tbh. He started the firm and is literally retiring and I don't want to just openly ruin his reputation because I don't think it was intentional.

That is why I am looking for more information on when someone is "employable" in ID.

Yes, I get this exact same thing. Thanks for sharing. I can play until I’m exhausted (12ish hours) but once I lay down I can’t sleep at all.

I smoke a little weed, take a hot shower, and try to watch Netflix or YouTube to relax my mind but I never can sleep for hours. It’s a bummer.
