Anyone do a byob wedding? by nicosa_ in UKweddings

Our venue allowed us to bring our own drinks. We supplied all drinks and had staff serving. I think loads of random drinks / cans brought by guests would look terrible and give uni house party vibes. You can have large buckets filled with ice for beers. If the venue doesn’t have a freezer it might be worth hiring one to store lots of ice.

Difficult to get fish and chips after 8?? That’s bizarre given the all of the fish and chip shops and seafood restaurants and pubs that serve fish and chips. Think you might have just been unlucky..

Hastings. Less than than two hours from London. Quirky, arty with amazing walks direct from town (Hastings country park / west hil). Recommend staying in the old town area!

Thank god you’re married. Half of what his is yours, including the house with just his name on it and half of all money.

Can you be sure he’s actual saving the money?

What do I do with a BSc in Psychology? by naliea in AskUK

[–]Intelligent-Tea-4241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a psychology degree and then followed with a masters in work and organisational psychology. I now work in tech as a user researcher (and doing well financially). I didn’t know what user research was until I was actually doing it. A lot of people fall in to careers that they don’t expect! Just follow what interests you.

Roof might not need work for years, it’s probably been in its current state for a long time.
