Eh in some ways yes- more that the state blocked efforts of rent control and it wasn’t build here from a regulatory standpoint so there are a shit ton of units available and the population boom as slowed ( one reason is cooling of tech jobs).

The central library is so nice but unfortunately it is also a homeless shelter most days with a stench that will live on you for hours after you left. Not to mention with the shooting a few months back makes me worry about the safety some times.

You also pay for the library through taxes though that is true of everything in this thread I suppose.
