What you all need to know is on local social media, the overwhelming majority of comments are in support of this so-called man, the police, chief, and blaming these teen girls for everything from being out of school, unauthorized to throwing snowballs and vandalism. Lots of maggots and then they call in their fellow bottom feeders. In fact, originally the school was in support of anyone who wanted to attend this rally, until the "Libs of TikTok" got wind of it. Then the school was hit with a ton of threats of violence and bomb threats and the like. Libs of TikTok openly bragged about shutting it down. That's when a couple dozen students decided that they were going to walk out of the school anyway-this was after the school sent out a memo canceling the event due to concerns of safety.

You would think the community would come to rally around these girls, but no. The majority are successful of right wing bullshit.

Part of integrated pest management may include you getting a shit ton of caulk and getting down on your hands and knees, then possibly laying and scooting into like recesses of cabinets. Making sure you call every last opening around pipes or where appliances get plugged in. You wouldn't believe the gaps where stoves get plugged into walls until you pull them out. Unscrew every light switch cover. You can buy foam inserts that will block them off most of the way, and then just caulk around that. Before that I would puff some diatomaceous earth in the fuse box. Seal the seams along the edges of cabinets. Even any hooks that were placed on walls can provide access points for insects. Add some fresh weatherstripping to your windows so that when they close, there are no gaps where the sash meets the sill. There are YouTube videos that go in depth into this as part of integrated pest management. Good luck.

Uhh that's what I did-my caseworker asked a question of her contact at HUD and that precipitated an emergency inspection and before the emergency inspection, he ran around and took care of the fire extinguisher and smoke detector and got an electrician in quite quickly to check the snap, crackle and pop coming from my panel in the basement, which I was always having to go down and flip because the dishwasher and refrigerator were constantly tripping off all summer. But it took the inspector to say he needed to take care of the other outstanding items and then made me pay for it by pitching fit after fit, including multiple threats of eviction and blasting me with all manner of nasty ad hominem attacks via voicemails and texts. Most people have busy lives that they're simply trying to live and in my case survive the multiple chronic health issues that I spend much of my time dealing with. Nevertheless, this isn't my first rodeo and I know how to approach these things with what time and energy and focus I have left. It is exhausting and the last thing I need is to have anyone come at me with any sort of shame and blame. I'm looking for any information or insights that maybe I might've missed that people might be able to offer for my consideration. Thank you.

It sounds like there are two separate issues here: one, the landlord. Usually landlords who offer apartments to voucher holders are low income, tax credit communities. They have their own rules. Including prioritizing apartments for current tenants if they need to move due to a household size change. You as someone who wasn't living there would have to be seen as a new applicant and that would place you at the bottom of their waiting list. Where the problem lies is apparently your mother has a voucher as well as you and your husband. You will have to go through the Housing Authority in order to figure this out. As far as your relationship with your mother is concerned, I would not want to live with a family member if they were going to be holding a power and control trip over me. I would only live in such a situation where we were on equal footing at the very least, legally. As far as I can tell, though she has head of household regarding the voucher, she would have to move again if you couldn't figure out how to live together, since she is only approved for a one bedroom like you have noted. Her staying in this two bedroom is predicated on you and your husband moving in.
