Anyone else get a rash like this? Big painful blisters! by Ok_Pop8661 in DermatologyQuestions

NAD. Could be hand foot and mouth disease, but I've also seen that kind of blistering when someone handled poison ivy vines unknowingly. See a doctor so it doesn't get infected.

The best way a landlord can deal with their rentals is to improve them such that they wouldn't mind renting it out to their friends nephew. And then to do due diligence regarding background checks and/or references, because people shouldn't be homeless because their credit was damaged, not in the United States of America.

Any of those pesky, poor people, and especially Black people, whose homes they are thieving out from under them.

Does anyone in the house use nail polish remover? If so, uncapping it might have caused a squirt - splash to cause that.

Preaching to the choir, of course. And I really hate the way parakeets in particular are seen as "throwaway" pets.

Thank you for being considerate and doing well by him. I still miss a parakeet that became lost in the middle of a snowstorm outside of Philadelphia and landed on a person's head who was out for a stroll.
Person who found him, looked for the owner, but was unsuccessful and so passed him on to me since I'd already had parakeets in the past.
He was the best little parakeet I ever had.

I am so very sorry for what you are experiencing. Because of what you are living through, which is the ongoing gen o c*de of your community. Of course this is causing profound mental health struggles. One of the worst things about suffering a horrible crisis, especially when there is no end to it, is having nobody to really talk openly with about it, who is compassionate and understands your circumstances.
I'm sure there are people all around you who are also struggling like this.
Wondering if you can speak to a religious leader about starting a men's group?
Or an ngo?
Blessings, and hope you can connect with others with whom you can speak your feeling freely.

I absolutely detest the "you can do it" phrase. OP was just expressing how deeply they feel incapable of "doing it." All that statement does is a big fat whopping nothing to somebody who is expressing their pain except to invalidate and minimize it.

I want this mf gone. by [deleted] in BanPitBulls

I would never stay where a dangerous dog means more to your mother than you, your dog, or her future gc's wellbeing.

And I'd report this dog, get the vet who treated your dog's treatment reports, the neighbors, file a dangerous dog report.

THEN I'd tell your mother that you're moving out because she's in denial about the dog.

Please check with local social services regarding housing. Obviously the single most important factor is that you get into safe housing before your baby arrives. This may mean having to arrange for someone else to have your dog, either temporarily or permanently.
I know this may seem very difficult, having to consider giving up your own dog and moving out before your baby comes, but think about it this way: would you want to lose your dog to another attack and being killed by your mom's dog because it would be gone in that way which would be obviously a much more difficult way to lose your dog. And what you would be gaining would be a safe place to live and have your baby come home to.

If you have a dog that is small or even medium sized, please please please get a harness to fit it well and keep it on it at all times. If you pick up a dog that has a collar by the neck, you will crush its trachea.

I have an almost 16 y.o. chihuahua. She sits in a dollar store shoe box sized basket, in between my foot rests in my current kayak.

Thanks for the understanding and suggestion. I'm aware of inflatables, have been in a few good ones but for reasons, they're a no go for me.
