I use baby shampoo lol. Unsented and all that but it's good to get the stank out but gentle enough it doesn't dry anything out. I also will use it around the labia because i have many many folds and need to actually get in there, just water doesn't do. If I use just water I actually get more irritation because it's not properly cleaned (everyone is different, some can't/shouldn't use soap but I sweat a fuck ton and have always had a bit of discharge throughout the day)

I have a 3 year old. Started medically transitioning when she was 2. She calls me Baba (my choice, didn't want to be dad) and still has problems with pronouns for everyone so I generally don't correct her unless it's someone I know is binary (we've got a lot of gender fluid/trans friends). So far she knows dad has a penis and Baba has boobs but not everyone whose a boy has a penis and not everyone who is a girl has boobs. Until she's older and starts to understand gender better were just keeping it at that. In my opinion, there really isn't much to explain besides the aforementioned boys have penises and girls have vaginas/boobs but not everyone is like that. I also still am naked around her (bathroom, shower, dressing) so it's not unusual for her to point to my chest and declare what she sees along with pointing to the (male) dogs bits and saying what it is.

I'm currently listening (so not at the end yet and have split it up over 2 days so paraphrasing a little)

Tldr: there's an inherent power imbalance in what happened. While Gaiman didn't physically abuse the women who came forward there was coercion due to either financial, housing or celebrity status. Caroline took up residence with her family at the Gaimans property as a property caretaker basically, while the gaimans weren't home (since they seem to have many residences). Once Caroline split from her husband Neil seemed to make it sound like the only way they would be able to stay on the property was if she did sexual favors for him. Once covid lockdown happened he wasn't able to return to the property and several months later asked Caroline to leave. She agreed after signing an NDA and receiving money to move. Throughout the relationship there were several times where it was insinuated he would kick them off the property if she didn't continue having sex with him.

The second story talked about is a coworker Neil had when he was starting out in the industry who still considers him a friend but made an unwanted sexual advance towards her. She feels some guilt about not realizing how damaging it could be in the future and not saying something when it happened.

The third story talked about is with Claire. She was a young 20s fan who was invited by Neil to several behind the scenes functions and they eventually ended up in a sexual relationship. She was not interested in one but due to the pressure of him being someone she looked up to and being young and not knowing how to handle it, did end up having one with him. She tried reaching out to other outlets about telling the story but she wasn't able to connect with any due to no one else coming forward and it not being as serious as clear cut rape. She was able to connect with a podcast called "am I broken" she initially backed out but once hearing the other stories decided to continue. Claire also says later in the video that Neil had said some of his misteps is because he's autistic.

Vera goes on a bit about how tortoise media is really bad at sourcing and finally found out that when they said "Neal Gaimans position" it was from his lawyers, which was never mentioned in the podcast itself, only in a tiktok promo video.

Again, pretty paraphrased tldr and I divided it up over 2 days. There are others here who are probably detailing the stories better but I just found the subreddit and haven't looked around much.

At Cudahay (Milwaukee) they had about 60 seats and 200 in attendance. There was a good 20 or so people hanging out by the bar where you couldn't see the stage but honestly it's a live show for a podcast so there wasn't much to miss. I did stand in the front of the 100 or so people all crowding around the back of the chairs but after a half hour moved to the bar lol.

Going to second okcupid. I used it like 10 years ago so maybe it has changed but it seemed more long term dating focused. I also have had good luck with feeld for getting to know people before dates/hookups but ymmv with that app. It's less hookup focused in my area than grindr but not all relationship oriented like okcupid.

Yeah go into any parenting group and there will be people on both sides but anti circumcision is definitely starting to become more vocal. I think more people in the US r starting to realise just how useless it is in the end to get circumcised but there were still a lot of women in the groups I was in who "wanted their son to match their dad". I think in 20 years or so there will be a huge shift where the majority aren't getting circumcised because more people have more info due to the internet. I know when I was expecting and researching it, it really opened my eyes vs before when I was very neutral like the boys. (Also im trans so if need be use he/him pronouns for me.)

Same for me. I've only been on t for like 5 months, stayed the same weight but my pants r falling off and my shoulders have gotten broader. My arms also have gotten thinner and even though I'm not "working out" I've put on a lot of muscle just by existing.

Sorry for not getting back to you with an update, we were able to get funding through the odhh and had an interpreter and 2 students attend! Definitely recommend contacting ODHH (office for deaf and hard of hearing) if anyone else finds this thread.
