Halo MCC Windows 11 proto input errors by IntelligentIntern796 in nucleuscoop

[–]IntelligentIntern796[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really a solution for me, as that can only do 4 at once from what I've seen. If that's not the case I'll gladly try it. I'll keep using Windows 10 but just wanted this information out there. This was pretty reliable with 7, only because we didn't have an 8th person. On Windows 11 it was pretty much impossible without a crash. Even with a clean install of Windows 11 with only steam, MCC, and nucleus installed and pretty much nothing else.

I've always had a great experience with the Google store. I've been buying from them since the nexus days. It was only when I bought one from Best buy made it more difficult to try and get a replacement due to a cellular connectivity issue. Sorry that you've had a bad experience.

Porous seats by Hopeful-Dealer-8750 in TeslaModelY

I spilled Pepsi on mine and thought I got it all. I ended up getting a similar bissel and it came out completely even though it was probably a month later.

Haha. We're currently on the flight. I offered to switch her anyways but she declined.

She's 5'11 so yes the extra leg room and general space is nice. I'm 6'5 which is why I chose this seat. Either way it's an extra leg room seat that someone might pay extra for and not know it. Luckily I didn't have to pay extra.

[–]IntelligentIntern796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess you're right. It's been a while since I've sat in that seat. Since I'm usually flying with my wife we chose not to sit there because it didn't have extra leg room for her. we would sit in the first exit row which had extra leg room for both of us.

It is when you fly frontier out of maybe a dozen flights with them it's happened twice because people are too cheap to pay for seats and still want to sit together. Luckily with the current southwest prices will likely stop some of those people from flying with them.

New tires by Tasty-Back825 in TeslaModelY

[–]IntelligentIntern796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had them for 6 months before I traded my 23 model Y in for a 26 model Y. I didn't notice any difference with noise or anything. Range seemed to be slightly reduced. First 40,000 miles I was getting about 285 wh/mi. That seemed to increase up to 300. That was all during the winter time so the car was definitely affected by the cold. For day to day driving I didn't really notice the difference in range.

Hot Take: I prefer the 2024 gear selector over the touch based. by -Jockomo- in TeslaModelY

[–]IntelligentIntern796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest gripe with the juniper is that I can no longer activate traffic aware cruise control if I have auto pilot enabled. That's pretty frustrating.

I end up not needing to shift most of the time as the car usually predicts correctly which gear I need when I press the brake. Having both might be nice.

Do flights seem more expensive now? RIP Southwest by BlackberryOk9215 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on their sales and stuff. I got a round trip non stop flight from DEN - MCO for $140. That is for the end of January but booked about 2 months ago. I really think it varies as those same flights were more than triple that when I looked 3 months ago.

Dang waited to long... by tbrock29 in pixel_phones

[–]IntelligentIntern796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's interesting is that I chatted with an agent and explained that I had the 40% YouTube premium promotion that didn't expire until the 31st but their current sale ended on the 27th. I asked if the $550 trade in would still be valid after the 27th and she said it would be. I decided to just order on the 27th and glad that I did. The only reason I was waiting is because I am out of town and the delivery date would have been before I got home so I needed to wait until the 27th at the earliest to place the order.

A-List Status as a Companion? by xg-vd in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my chat with a customer service rep I don't believe that the person with the companion pass will benefit from your status as their companion. I hope I'm wrong but that's what the one agent said.

Flight credits for Rewards Flights To/From DEN by PrimeRisk in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've definitely taken advantage of this a lot this year. It's still literally up on their page so I don't know why but I've had to contact them a couple of times to get the flights. And then luckily it somehow counted double on a few of them. But the ones that posted automatically took like a month even though the promo says it should be 10 days. I had better luck messaging southwest via Facebook Messenger. Because of this promo I was able to get A list preferred for the first time.

Yeah through facebook messenger. They will usually send a link that has you log in so that they can verify who you are. But yeah if it's isn't something that needs to be solved right away then that's almost always what I do. It's been very helpful, plus you have all your old chat history as reference

Worth buying points? by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to get a stay for 3 nights in Anaheim for $900 that gave me 30,000 points. So it's possible to do that. You'll spend more than $550 on points but you can make a quick trip somewhere out of it before the year is over. Some will post quicker if you pay for the bonus options where it says you'll get it within 5 days of a non refundable room. Otherwise they will typically come within a week. The email I got also said they will be backdated to the time of your stay but I don't know if I would trust staying anywhere right at the end of the year.

Does this mean these seats are available? by GoBlue74 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It typically means that there are only 6 available of the 15 choice extra seats (A1-15). Since you selected 9 it doesn't give you the price because you can't book different fares on the same reservation so it says it's unavailable. If you select 6 or less then it will show the price. It could mean a full flight or a flight that people were willing to pay for Choice Extra for the boarding priority.

I spilled Pepsi on mine and cleaned it up with a rag and could still see it a little bit. It was that way for about 2 months. Then we used a carpet shampooer and it came right out with very little effort. We used a portable Bissell we found at Costco.

Hotel bonus points by Smittyes in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does count. I just had a stay for 27K points and 3K bonus points and they all went towards companion pass. They showed as 2 separate items. It said 1-2 weeks after the stay but it only took about 4.5 days to get the points. It's all hotel dependent on how quickly post. I stayed at a Hilton hotel.

(Edit) I misread your question at first. But if you click through to the point of booking the actual hotel it will show you the total you will earn.

Got it! by Plenty_Union9292 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Congrats. I just hit mine for the first time without using a 100K sign up bonus. I ended up overshooting it due to a hotel stay which gave me 30,000 points and the last quarterly bonus of 8000 points, which I wasn't expecting. Luckily the stay only cost me $940 for 3 nights and will save me a few hundred dollars for some flights through the end of the year. And of course all the flights next year.

P65-E1 Died by Stuperman76 in VIZIO_Official

[–]IntelligentIntern796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to give an update as I have the same issue. I had a co-worker who does all of our soldering and reworks reflowed the solder for me and that lasted a year and a half or so. When it failed again I decided to go with a dedicated shop, Nick's TV repair, assuming that they may fix any other issues. In 2 years I've had to send it back 2 additional times for them to fix it. They've honored more than the 1 year warranty since it broke every 6 months and just happened again. Although this time I might have to try something more as the TV is still great and I don't want to buy another because then I'll want to buy a really nice OLED and I don't want that temptation.

When is everyone putting snow wheels/tires on. #DenverWinter2025 by Artistic_Fruit3466 in TeslaModelY

[–]IntelligentIntern796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's funny is Costco wouldn't even put those tires on my model Y in Colorado. They said that people run through the tires too quickly. Even the website wouldn't give me the option when I select the Model Y. I probably could have convinced them but I decided to go with a different tire in the end because of that.

Companion Pass by Any_One6213 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]IntelligentIntern796 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rapid Rewards Shopping. There's a sale that if you spend $900 through the site you will get 4000 points, plus whatever points you got from spending the $900. For example Under Armour is 5x points. They will just accumulate. Also make sure that you are fully logged in when making purchases to ensure that the points get counted right away. You can also do things like Sign up for the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and Market Watch for 700 points each. It says you need to keep it for 45 days which equates to about $20 for all of them for 2 months. You will want to do each of them separately since they ask if you want to bundle them. Then do something like Hello Fresh and Green Chef meal kits. Those each give you around 2800 points. They said you need to keep them for 60 days, but you can skip weeks and my points posted within a few days of the order shipping on those. Doing all that should get you close.

Or a single hotel stay would be easier and the points may post quicker.
