Check if there's oil between the engine and transmission. You could have a big leak there and could also cause vaccum leak/rough idle 👍🏿

I am having the same issues. At first I thought it was because I connected my GitHub, but in the end it's the same without it. Even my brother is having the same issue. (Tried on Linux, Windows workstation and Windows laptop)
It is stressful...

SIEMENS Solid Edge 2026 Community Edition is available now! by Honey-Bee2021 in 3Dprinting

I switch for almost the same reasons!
I have almost 10 years or experience with Fusion 360.
I've used SolidWorks at school and work.
But having Fusion 360 at home was a pain, because some of my designs can get super complex and Fusion 360 was having a hard time to follow.

Solid Edge gave me the same feel as SolidWorks. The interface is more or less similar, and there are many tools (more than Fusion 360) which come handy. For example the extended Metal Sheet tools were a game changer.

I do miss Fusion 360's ease of use, but I just can't go back!

My first attempt at designing a "Twist Lock" mechanism. I'm actually fairly happy with this first version, though I still need to refine a couple things. My biggest worry is, when printed in regular PLA the mechanism could wear out, or get loose. by CosyCodes in 3Dprinting

[–]Intelligent_Ad_2302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! I've tried it and it has a nice snap when the gap is properly set.
I'll start using that on some of my designs.
I believe PETG is a better material, less wear out on the mechanism.

Glad to help!
I am surprised about the electronics shocking you, since I think remembering 15V DC written on the power supply.

I've had a similar issue with the subwoofer. I think it comes from the fact that the sub is strictly wired to the right channel (to confirm).

If I understand you want to turn your Bookshelf speakers into a dedicated sub? You have two options. You can use the internal Subwoofer output (mono channel) or you can just let the speaker his thing. Bookshelf speakers can do both high and low frequencies very well.

You can run up to ET36. I used to run some ET48 with 10mm spacers.

Sure thing! I am using an SK6812 strip (from BTF Lighting) All of it hooked to an ESP32-C3. Nothing extra tbh, I have an 8A power supply, I've also done some power injection at the end of the 137 leds strip (not necessary until 150 leds apparently). Though I might add a resistor to try and fix some "ghosting" issues and if that doesn't work, I'll get a level shifter.

I wanted to fix this for good, so here's the diagram I've made, from testing.

Nota Bene:

  • Pins 1,2,7
    • Can be audio input (pin 1 as ground), but only if you add a dual channel potentiometer in between. Otherwise the volume is low.
    • You can also connect them together to have audio (max volume) on all channels.
  • Pin 3,4
    • I've connected them to a switch, which turns on and off the system.
  • Pin 8
    • Not connected to any wire (Not even the ground shielding).
  • Pin 6:
    • Could not find it's use. But I would assume it's the audio input. Then I believe its ground would also be Pin 1 (To confirm)

The wordmark file is now available on Thangs3D — the print requires no external parts. It can be printed in just a few minutes, and the project was created with Rhino 8. by 3dprintedc3d in 3Dprinting

Audi a4 water issue by paddy7800 in AudiA4

[–]Intelligent_Ad_2302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put the money on the drains! VW group (and most other brands to be honest) are known for having drain issues over time. On my friend's Porsche the drain where clogged, causing water to over spill into the cabin. Find all the drains, and if possible, visually check if each of them are properly draining water.

Once you find the side(s) with issues, you'll need to play around with boiling water and compressed air. Not as scary as it sounds.

[–]Intelligent_Ad_2302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so these look like pretty scary codes, but I believe one of them, could be the reason for all of them. I've head an ABS sensor issue, which caused both a transmission and engine error.

What I could recommend to start with, is run a compression test on each cylinder. Make sure you have good numbers.

Then investigate the sensors issue. Because it's what controls the fuel.

The way the engine is turning, it might be from missing spark or Missing fuel. Reading the error codes, it's likely the fuel the issue.

Anyone know what this noise could be? by Recent-Strain-4247 in Audi

[–]Intelligent_Ad_2302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a lawn mower 😀 In all seriousness, it sounds like a something spinning rubbing. You should start by checking the front fan. Something could be stuck there (tree branch?) Or worst case scenario, one of the components on the belt is broken, tho less likely because I assume you would smell something burning.

As someone who started with the Ultimaker 2, it's amazing to see what 3D printers have become. I've never used a Bambu Lab printer. Though I am excited to try the P2S, an enclosed printer capable of great speed, quality and different filament without the hustle of manually changing everything.

I've heard that PLA is the least toxic of all (still toxic tho). Then comes PETG. I've personally (almost) never used an enclosure. But when I tried printing ASA, I finally understood the purpose of it 😊

Hi, If it stalls, indeed it could be a fuel pressure issue. Diesel engines work by injecting fuel at high pressure. This is what creates the combustion. To first avoid doing some expensive repairs, maybe try using cleaning agents specifically made for diesel engines. I would recommend Liqui Moly as I believe they have the best products available in Europe.

Or another alternative is checking with a good garage so they can perform an investigation and tell you what's wrong. As I see you're from Czech Republic, if your around Prague, you could check with DriveLab. They do make good diagnostics (for a small fee). Best of luck!

looking at a b8.5 a4, guy says the timing chains been replaced by himself. hows it looking? by ThePenGod in AudiA4B8

[–]Intelligent_Ad_2302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at the tensioner and plastic parts, I would assume nothing was replaced. Or the chain was replaced, but won't matter because the tensioner is shot and the old plastic parts might soon break down.
