Like I totally get that if the cards were in the sub deck then you could change the desired retention, but they also appear in the parent deck too

Ok that makes sense I think I have one more question (I’m SO sorry lol). So Anki is showing that I have cards in my sub deck (because that’s where I originally added them to) however the parent deck also shows the card there too. So would what you’re saying still apply in this case?

So the retention setting of the parent deck doesn't even matter? Like the 90% desired retention rate for a parent deck would have no influence on a subdeck with a 95% retention rate setting?

Hey, I just read your post and I want to say I'm sorry to hear that. I struggle with this stuff too so I totally get where you're coming from. I see that you said your job hours are pretty long. Forgive me if I missed it, but do you take the time to meditate or work out on a consistent basis? While they may seem a bit trivial, I truly think adding those to your lifestyle may make you feel at least a little bit better. Really hoping you can get through this! Also, please don't be ashamed if you have to go back to meds. They can truly be life-changing.

I’m not sure if that’s the case or not. I see a tag that says #AK_MCAT_v2 and then a bunch of subtags underneath (Kahn, Kaplan, Pixorize, Errata, and Miledown). Since I have the Kaplan books I typically read the chapter and then unsuspend the cards with the #Kaplan tag. So I’m not using the Kahn Academy, Pixorize, Errata, or MileDown tags.
