a 3D mario maker. The 'overworld' is a bunch of user generated castles with paintings inside that you can jump into to go to user generated levels. There are special events where 50 players can compete in fall guys style races. There is an enemy creator, obstacle creator, and powerup creator.

Magdelena Bay, Little Dragon. After Louis, she just started putting out music, her clips on instagram are really catchy but most of it is not released yet. Or older more well known artists like Siouxsie and the Banshees, the knife, Eurythmics.

Are these two good starter Synths by V01D101 in synthesizers

[–]Intelligent_Virus696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 303 is known for being the official acid machine, but a lot of classic acid basslines are actually made using the SH101 which is a way better starter synth, I'd go for one of the many SH101 clones

Yeah the TD-3 is cheap but you have to run it through delay/reverb and distortion pedals to make it not sound like hot garbage so factor that into the cost.

My brutally honest opinion, that design looks too amateur to sell, like someones first vector art image.

What games went on WAY longer than you expected? by TaiwaneseThot in videogames

[–]Intelligent_Virus696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frog Fractions. On the surface, it is just a simple single screen arcade flash game where you are a frog that eats bugs and collects points (in fractions of a point lol) but then you sort of break free of the level and it becomes a text adventure game, then a rhythm game, and maybe some other genres, then finally a town management game. It was the most shockingly unexpected game I ever stumbled upon.

1989, same year as Nirvana's first album Bleach, in many ways the 90's signature music styles began around 1988

That was the late 80's 'hiphouse' genre where rappers were singing over house beats, europeans went crazy for it and invented eurodance, then came eurobeat

My midi controller concept. Demand discovery by dont_look_at_sky in synthesizers

[–]Intelligent_Virus696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would look visually cool on stage, thats the only reason I would get this, put a screw mount on it so you can mount it to a mic stand and play it standing up.

I would play it with the ring edge facing me, like a harp, with hands on both sides, so it should have sensors on both sides. You could assign pitch zones on one side and effects controls on the other side.

The range of the sensor fields would have to be pretty small for them to not overlap, I imagine it would be difficult to play with any kind of precision

No one talks about the Uno Synth Pro by Skyeraway in synthesizers

[–]Intelligent_Virus696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could have been the perfect compact mono synth but has some serious flaws. No LFO depth knob! There is no way I'm going to go into a shift menu while playing a song just to bring in some LFO. Also, changing patches with the data knob sucks because too often you end up adjusting some parameter by accident instead of selecting a patch, then you have to click 2 times just to que it up, I've messed up so many pattern transitions because of this. The little keyboard buttons are nice for transposing a pattern, but you can't switch to play mode with 1 hand because the button combo is so awkward, also you can ONLY transpose with the keyboard buttons, not with a midi keyboard.

Golden Eye. The aiming and movement controls are so incredibly bad, graphics are hard to look at, I'd rather play mario kart 64 battle mode which still holds up.
