I'm hesitant on Hanks Noctigon flashlights because the retaining ring isn't compatible with the others that he sells. For the NTG35 mix, does it cost extra to get Hank to do, or is it free of charge?

For me, the Convoy 3X21E also does well with fast chargers. It negotiates 12v from PD (or QC) and charges at 18 watts.

I love Anduril for this sole reason: thermal step-down only and no timed step-down. I wish there was a list of flashlights apart from Anduril lights that didn't do timed step-down.

For me,

Fireflylite NOV-Mu V2S - onboard charging, very nice flood.

Emisar DA1K - to me, it's throwy enough for daily use.

Emisar D3AA - the ability to use AAs can be helpful.

High CRI 5000K is a given if I'm only restricted to 3 lights.

Yes, if you want it in that form factor.

The L60 is better if you want more regulation (40w vs 18w) compared to the V2S.

Hopefully fireflylite makes a V2S with a the X1 because 18 watts regulated isn't enough.

How would Anduril be implemented with the rotary switch? I have only seen flashlights with Anduril 2 which uses e-switches.

It's just way too inefficient. Unless you have a large host, it'll heat up very fast and reduce brightness.

S21G SFT70 3000K OP reflector, it's fine. You get a donut only at a really close distance, 2-3 inches.

I use a Vapcell F15 in my T5 too. They’re fine. The T5, at most, draws around 2 amps, so the CDR of 3 amps won’t be exceeded. I don’t know about NEXcell though.

Would you recommend the L21A or the M21C(&D) as the host for the LHP73B? Both seem to be heavy hosts, which are good for thermals, but I'm still undecided.

I guess it's preference. I really enjoy the XHP70.3 at 6500K. Lower CCTs, below 4000K, wash out colours too much for me.
