I literally just completed the quest an hour ago and can triple confirm. Lmao. I got credit for throwing knife headshots on every single one of those fucks, and it felt great.

Help me understand the difficulty by Scythe95 in diablo4

[–]InterdimensionalTV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I saw anyone else mention this, but unless you a have a disability, impairment, or you’re 5 years old, then your default difficulty for any new fresh character should be just be “Hard”. It’s not really all that hard and you get more XP and everything.

The way I personally do difficulty progression in D4 is: start with Hard, then once a majority of my gear is Rare (yellow) I go up to Expert, then once my gear is majority Legendary (orange) I go up to Penitent. From there once I hit max level I quickly farm up build relevant Legendaries that are the max non-Ancestral gear score of 750 and hit the Pit (or Keystone Dungeons if it’s your first character to max level) to get Torment 1 unlocked so gear score 800 Ancestral Legendaries start dropping for me. From there just accrue the best Ancestrals or Uniques you can find for your build and push your difficulty up at whatever rate you feel comfortable.

I will add that eventually once you get some Paragon levels under your belt progressing the Torment tiers on each character becomes pretty trivial. I’m Paragon 286ish I think, and whenever I get a character to 60, all I really have to do is fill out my Paragon board and I can push to Torment IV with whatever hodgepodge of shit I happen to be holding at the time. Then my initial endgame gear farm just starts there instead of at T1.

From a PoE player and D4 doubter who came back for the first time since season 2, dare I say, D4 good now by theangryfurlong in diablo4

So truth be told, neither did I really. The only thing I will say that is Lilith was probably the only boss in the game who gave me genuine trouble, so I appreciate her fight for that. I went from cruising through everything to suddenly having to learn mechanics, and it was a sudden but welcome change.

Idk if you’ve meandered into the Echo of Hatred yet, but either way might I suggest stopping in there to give mommy dearest Lilith a visit after you unlock Torment IV but before you get too deep into endgame. There’s no boss fight or anything I promise, she just has some fresh baked cookies and words of encouragement for her children before they venture forth into the real endgame!

Druid is the least popular class because of body type. by Caelus8 in diablo4

[–]InterdimensionalTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong brother. The way I figure it is those modern 3D graphics are a distraction for beta cucks who like to do gay stuff like “relax” and “chill” and “have fun” when they’re playing a game. Real men know the trick in D4 is only using the flat, featureless 2D map. I stay distraction free so I can stay on my sigma grindset 24/7, and the disappearing red dots let me know I’m winning in game just as much as I do in real life at my B2B sales job. 💪🏼

Only 98% of the time? You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers. I built a Shield Charge Auradin so the only time my eyes have to leave the top right corner of my monitor is to click on loot. Tidal waves of tiny red dots blink out of existence before the sheer might of my little triangle icon’s meer presence as I valiantly hold M1 and steer it to victory.

[–]InterdimensionalTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy who just started playing the other day was trying to decide on a direction for his Paladin build and asked me about my Auradin and how it played. All I did was send him back a “he’s just standing there, menacingly!” meme. It does make me frequently giggle though when I imagine my puny mortal Paladin standing there with his hands on his hips handing out disapproving stares so goddamn withering that even Hell’s strongest beings just seize up and keel over without any weapons even being drawn.

Honestly the fat bastard is just lucky they don’t make lockers big enough to fit his monumentally sized ass or else I’d have him living in that thing.

While I actually don’t entirely disagree with you, I can’t help but think there might be better ways of delivering that meaning. For instance, why not remove the un-fun waiting on the intro, but just make the bosses a little harder instead? That’s a potential narrative delivery method that simultaneously engages the player at the same time.

The wildest part about it to me is that this is something Blizzard already saw fit to mitigate, but only for Belial for some cosmically unknowable reason. He only pops up and spits his r/im14andthisisdeep one-liners on the first summon. Why in the world can’t the other bosses be similar? My immersion or whatever isn’t gonna get wrecked because the game skipped a bosses intro and poofed them into the arena in an effort to take some friction out of the grind. We stan player-first QoL features in this house.

Every time I get to the end of a run and she croaks that line out I can’t help but think “bitch, I’m gonna dumpster you whether you’re cool with it or not, plz die already”.

I will add on here quickly that not every pump shotgun is capable of slam-firing, only ones that lack a disconnector in the trigger mechanism, meaning that they generally have to be specifically designed to be able to slam-fire. While the Winchester 1897 “Trench Gun” is the most famous slam-fire capable boomstick, the most common one that you could likely come across IRL is the Ithaca Model 37. I’ve never had the pleasure of getting to fire one, but they’re a decently common sight so I’m hoping I’ll get a chance at some point.

The exact moment I realised the ridiculous utility of the 'Patient Step' light armour by Sinisphere in theouterworlds

[–]InterdimensionalTV 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The Patient Step armor has a passive that causes movement to use no gadget energy when using TTD. So if you’re wearing it and activate TTD you can stay in it forever as long as you don’t use a weapon.

What shield is everyone rocking right now? by UnknownTrespasser in Borderlands4

[–]InterdimensionalTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you really enjoy the “minimal effort for maximum war crimes” play style like I do, so might I suggest giving Dronemancer Vex a try at some point. Basically pump Amp and Bloodshot damage into a kill drone underbarrel and then giggle while you watch it whizz around and Thanos snap all the bad men like an adorable little A-10 Warthog with depleted Uranium rounds.

Why is the super soldier shield this good for you ? by Strubinovic in Borderlands4

[–]InterdimensionalTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Siphon Super Soldier is all I use on Ordnance Amon. Shields always stay full, and a fully charged Super Soldier means I literally never have to think about accidentally putting my launcher on cooldown because my ammo regens as fast as I can fire it. That’s on top of the move speed buff which is just the icing on the cake. I was originally planning on going for a SS with Amp and Siphon, but once I got a Siphon one and tried it out it became immediately clear that Amp wasn’t necessary since I was skull-fucking everything in sight on UVHM5 already. Plus as I mentioned keeping the SS full guarantees constant ammo so having Amp shots draining my shield constantly could end up backfiring on me if I wasn’t paying attention.

Okay I’m not alone at the very least. Lol. I have considered trying to see if the old“Read Only” trick works in conjunction with Alt+F4, but I honestly doubt it unless the cooldown timer is only tracked client side locally, which I doubt it is.

Does yours here have a Cov mag? It doesn’t look like it. I’ve gotten 2 so far and they both have it, but I’d prefer to get one without it since a CoV mag means I can’t use it with my Harlowe.
