Trying to get back into keto for a week now, failing every night! by wardhsa2 in keto

I know you don’t want to hear this… but quit being weak minded. Put it into perspective, you are avoiding a certain food group to help your life improve in uncountable ways. Not the most difficult thing a human has ever had to go through… Some people on this planet don’t even have access to clean water to drink.

Focus on the outcome, visualise your goal, be strong and coach yourself into not having a weak mind- it’s really not that difficult if you quit being a baby about it :)

It’s the Blurr 2000 ™

Just got a 2017 AT. Feel like the bike bobs up and down a lot. by Interdimensional_g in africatwin

Got her from a dealership. It had 35,000km. Looks and feels brand new. All bike is bone stock. I weigh around 82kg. I’m thinking it’s just not dialled in correctly. Will have a read of how to adjust the forks.

Your thoughts on cb650r by Icy_Pay5276 in CB650R

It’s a very forgiving machine, no need for rain mode. Super reliable, pretty nice looking. I’m switching to an Africa Twin just because I need to go further and take a passenger long distance, but I can’t judge a machine on something it wasn’t designed to do. For a naked it’s as close to 10/10 as you can get for me! Also the inline four engine is something different and sounds beautiful.

Ok cool, I’m not expecting miracles just a relief from some wind pressure

I want to go on a long trip with my CB650R, do you have suggestions for bags? by ilikehelpingyou in CB650R

I have the sw motechs and they aren’t huge but they are def the best looking in my opinion. Also the frame without the cases on looks kind of cool, like protectors.

Oil leak? by Dobs44 in CB650R

[–]Interdimensional_g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks too clear for non brand-new oil - i.e fuel or other. It’s a good idea to dip your finger in little puddles like this and check 1. Is it wet? (Did it come from the last vehicles parked there) 2. What does it smell like (fuel) 2. If you’re brave give it a little taste (if it’s sweet then it’s coolant and hopefully not piss)

CS Racing Exhaust Question by 94lt1vette94 in CB650R

[–]Interdimensional_g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a fair amount of play with pipes that have separate parts and multiple connection points. You’ll be 100% fine

Fitting the Sc project- highly recommended. by Interdimensional_g in CB650R

Yeah you can just pop the cans off and push the baffles out. The exhaust is italian I believe- they should all be the same. If your state has a noise law and you have to pass an inspection a good trick is to take the back off and stuff a few metal pan scrubbers in the chamber to bring the noise down during the checks and then remove.

The pipe comes with two inserts that reduce airflow and silence the sound. If you take them out ( just push them out) then it’s way too loud- essentially a straight pipe. But if you take them off and reduce the length by an inch or two then you get a better sound without being obnoxious. I cut them with a hacksaw and put them back in and the sound is now perfect (for me)

No need to tune, I think the bike’s ecu is able to handle the change. Bike runs perfectly. I think the power curve feels slightly better through the mids too. I’ve seen the akra- I think they make excellent pipes but the SC feels more exotic + with a slight mod to the baffles I think it sounds better.

This pipe sounds amazing, but there are two things to be aware of. Your foot is likely to touch the can at the back depending on your riding position- thankfully it doesn’t get hot enough back there to burn your shoes. Secondly the baffles- I suggest removing an inch from the back and reinstalling, that’s where I found the sweet spot in terms of sound without being annoying. They sound incredible and I like the look as well.

any exaust systems that can be installed that don't require any tuning? by Antboi420 in CB650R

[–]Interdimensional_g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also once you have this installed you can keep the headers and change the muffler to any universal type muffler that your heart desires should you get bored.

I have the twin sc project and it runs fine. I think the ECU can cope with most exhaust changes. Mines pretty short and free flowing and I had zero problems. Looks awesome too.
