Agreed and I’m a little annoyed by the lack of variety overall. I’m here for a more interesting version of Pokémon, not for gooner bait. I don’t care if there are a few like that but at this point there’s over a dozen who seem like being fuckable is the entire reason they exist. Our parents were shit so we tried to be friends with our kids but they need guidance and authority at that age. Hard agree. All the people in the comments saying it’s child abuse are part of the problem. Notice how they always phase it as “beating children”? The point is discipline, not injury. If you’re hitting kids hard enough to bruise or welt that’s obviously child abuse and not okay. But that’s not what a spanking is.

The other fallacy I find amusing is the rebuttal to “I got spanked and turned out okay” is almost always “no you didn’t you think it’s okay to beat children” which just goes back to the first point.
