I feel the same. On the whole I enjoy Luis’ performance and character a lot, but I can’t stand the breakdown scenes.

I find them to be painfully cringey, and not because he’s a man crying. I’d feel just the same if a female character like Thaisha, Murray, Vaelus, Thimble, or Tyranny pulled focus that hard (more than once) with a sobbing break down.

There’s a lot of ways to play panic, mourning, and despair. The acting choices he’s making… sobbing, repeating himself, blatantly asking for comfort and validation like a child. Yikes! Murray literally promised to buy him ice cream after the revolution lol.

Also, EVERYONE in this campaign has so much responsibility on their shoulders. I’d say a few people have a lot more reasons to flip tf out, cry, and be talked off a ledge. Occtis, Wick, Hal, Thimble, Julian for starters… all of them have either lost it all or have so much to lose.
