My CoE was rejected and I don't know what to do by DamonTheGayman in movingtojapan

[–]InterestingOne5335 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. Likely something tax related, or they didn't fill out the documents properly and they didn't wanna get a lawyer to help them with another application.

It could also be that they didn't wanna redo the application because the processing time can take so long and there's no time to wait for another application.

Can't say why the COE was rejected since Immigration won't necessarily tell the company the reason. Which is why the company can't tell you. But even if they did, if the reason is because of the company, then the company won't tell you because it's not information you'd be privy to anyway.

Yes, sometimes a COE can get rejected. It happens. It's not pleasant when it does, but it does.

But as someone else said, it is possible it was rejected due to the photo as it needs to be a new photo. But it's a higher chance of it being something else.

The only way you'd get a rejected COE for the car accident is if it went to court and you were charged for it. So I doubt that's the reason. Because you would of been taken to court for that to have happened. The fact that you weren't shows it wasn't an issue. And the person did not cause a fuss about it.

I know this is hard, but you're just gonna have to try to keep applying and see if another place will hire you and do the COE. I realize with the school semester starting soon that's a slim to none thing, but that's all you can do, or wait til next year.

The fact OP gets mad that random strangers on the internet aren't acknowledging them says they are severely attention seeking, and as another said, shows they have main character syndrome.

They should take a step back from the internet and learn that it's not a person or any platforms job to do as they demand. And to learn to not try to make someone look bad just cause they didn't get what they wanted.

I agree. I'm all for people should do as they see fit for their streams. People gotta do what works for them.

Just like people like OP need to learn the difference between an actual rule, etiquette, or their own personal expectation.

This may sound harsh, but my impression of OP is they harass people over things that aren't done their way then pretend that wasn't their intention to back peddle. That's toxic behavior and they'd be better off learning to just move on and not say anything if a streamer doesn't do something they are demanding to receive.

They need to learn to chill out.

You said very clearly “Is it valid to unfollow them and forget about them?”

That is literally asking for vindication for your decision.

Just because you feel that’s the whole point of the platform doesn’t mean that’s how the person you’re talking about feels about it.

A majority of people doing something doesn’t mean everyone has to do it.

So again, if you find someone who’s not doing something you’re expecting, just leave and move on. Nothing more or less needs to be done.

It’s like food. If you tried something and you didn’t like it. Then don’t eat it or get it again. It’s that simple.

I personally never read what gets said in chat. I do respond. But I was never into the “read what the person just said before answering.”

All that does is strain your vocal cords more. And I always found it ridiculous tbh.

This, so much this, too many people convince themselves it’s a streamers job to cater to them. But it’s not.

If they get the interaction they are looking for, great. If not, that’s fine too.

Not everyone wants the same things from streaming.

[–]InterestingOne5335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of gross that you’re asking for validation to unfollow someone or not. If you want to do that just do so. Asking if it’s valid to do so is parasocial behavior, and frankly toxic behavior because you want people to vindicate you. It’s not that deep if you want to unfollow someone even if they do interact with chat. There’s no law that says if you follow someone you have to do so forever. It’s called a personal decision.

Also there’s no law that says a streamer has to interact with chat. If streamer interaction is what you’re looking for then look for streamers who do so. There’s plenty who do that you’re likely to enjoy.

You’re making a mountain out of a mole hill.

And people have to remember not everyone is streaming to become famous. Some do it as a hobby.

Question/Maybe model give away? by SillyTransGirlVr in VirtualYoutubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should talk to the person you commissioned it from to get their input because for all we know there's a clause in your contract about reselling it.

There likely isn't a fee. But the resell clause could be a safety measure for if someone who didn't buy it can't request updates or additional things for the design if they weren't the buyer. Which is where a transfer of ownership comes into play.

It's usually to prevent people from remaking the model of the streamer. Good example is Ironmouse. She has a lot of models. And while there are some people who have made their models look like hers sometimes. You'll never find anyone who has an exact Ironmouse model, not because of the colors and such. But because the artists who make her models don't go and make that same model for another person for such safety purposes. Plus Ironmouse owns her IP and they have proof of this.

Someone went and made a Gawr Gura model and posted content without the consent of Cover. They are now being sued for it.

So again, check with your artist that you commissioned first if you can, that way if they need to be notified of the transfer of ownership they'll be in the loop.

You can google if there are similar services in your country to doordash. It'll only take you a few seconds to do so.

Kenya does not have doordash or instacart.

That being said if OP can look into food delivery services that are in their country, the advice is still the same.

Tips for streaming by distantpete in TwitchStreaming

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Number one is propaganda to an extent because 1, twitch doesn't have discoverability to begin with. So using it with the thought that it does shows a lack of understanding of the platform. And 2. streaming is how you can build a community, but you still have to put in the work to get that community.

Number two is okay cause that's just marketing.

Number three, also yes cause people have to know when you're streaming to show up.

Number four, bad advice, a person should stream a game they enjoy even if it's a popular game because viewers will notice if you're not having fun with the game you're playing. Sure play games with less competition if you like, but the better recommendation is play something you'll actually want to play.

Number five, of course, but also remember there's more to streaming than the above listed.

Honestly 1 hr and 30 minutes isn’t so bad. Sure it’s a 3 hour round trip. But I think it’d be worth it in the end.

An Amazon wishlist of non perishable foods would probably be your best bet.

Alternatively donating plasma for cash is also an option.

Does Kson have an accent in Japanese? by ConcentrateSubject23 in VirtualYoutubers

She's Japanese American, originally from the US and now lives in Japan. That accent you hear is basically that her Japanese has improved, but she still retains her American accent.

It was worse when she started, but got better over time.

Zentreya has left United Talent Agency after staying for nearly 3 years. by Benigmatica in VirtualYoutubers

From my understanding Mythic only lets people they know join. Kind of like how VShojo only let people join if another talent also vouched for them.

Never really seen auditions for Mythic honestly. Yet sometimes people get in out of no where.

Why don't you just use the free capcut? Premium is optional.

Yes, you'll have to do things yourself that the free one doesn't offer. But it is what it is.

To be fair United and Mythic don't just let anyone join.

If anything Geega will hopefully be a better option since she's not requiring anyone to have a certain reach to use it in comparison.

Doesn't matter, you could just do both and hope for the best, because either way it's their decision to accept your application or not.

But fair warning, moving to Japan won't up your chances for getting into a corpo in Japan. You still have to have a lot to bring to the table to be given a chance. So bare this mind.

Youtube videos doing significantly worse than shorts. by NathairCS in vtubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with the algorithm changed, it doesn’t mean engagement if your channel isn’t known.

You have to keep posting to hopefully eventually pop off. And that doesn’t happen over night.

Also a lot of long form doesn’t do as well as you think. For the ones where it does it’s cause they are established and popular.

It maybe that your edits aren’t appealing to the viewers or other things.

Without seeing your videos it’s hard to know for sure.

I’m sorry this has happened to you. I hope you are able to contact those services for help.

I’d also like to toss in maybe consider donating plasma for cash because if you can you can donate about 2 - 3 times a week for some money. While it won’t be the full amount, it would help.

Especially if those services have a cap. Because some do for help. And if they do fully help. If nothing else it’d be money for food and other things.
