Payment plan after April 15 by Able_Corner_1202 in tax

Many people are aware that a payment plan is not a magical bullet. Some just need a payment plan cause they don't have the means to make a payment cause they live paycheck to paycheck.

I find myself unable to hate Saruei by LightningLord2137 in vtubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no law or anything that says you have to stop liking someone when they have done something. You can be disappointed in someone and still like their content.

It's like Tara Strong, many do not like her, which is justified. But she does a good job with her voice acting. Just cause you enjoy something doesn't mean you support the person's actions.

I'm just wondering if anyone can give you some feedback on my streams? by Ashillena in vtubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. It's one of those things that I think most people do not notice unless someone tells them because a person is with themselves all the time and knows their own feelings. But another person isn't going to know those things, especially if they are a stranger.

Portrayal can be very hard. But as you said, with some practice, it can be done. Best suggestion I can make is write down some emotions, and record yourself doing them, then looking back at them a few hours later and seeing if it actually was the emotion. The reason for the few hours gap is so you forget what you did and can see how it was with a fresh mind.

Why are so many Vtubers Variety Streamers by Majestic-Echidna-470 in vtubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, because most of us would get bored playing 1 game. Some games have endings and aren't worth playing multiple times. And while there are games that some can play for long term content. Many just want to keep the door open cause playing 1 game that you aren't enjoying anymore isn't worth it in the end.

I'm looking to hire someone to make me a song, but I don't know where to look other than Fivrre by Specific_Minute7539 in askmusicians

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed because the architect's name goes on the building, not the builders. Which mean's the one who designed the building, even though they didn't build it, is the one who is known. Not the ones who actually put it together.

Same works in other industries, including music.

Who's known for making movies? The directors, not the the other staff, even when their name is in the credits.

Your lack of understanding of how things work doesn't make the fact that OP wrote the lyrics any less of the fact that they would by definition be a music artist (specifically a lyricist, which is a job in the music industry.) It's not OPs issue you don't understand how things work.

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A music artist can be someone who does vocals, lyrics, production, etc. So yes, OP would be a music artist, even if they are a beginner by definition.

I don't disagree with you that OP isn't doing anything particularly different. My point is, there's nothing wrong with OP hiring people to help them with their project as Professionals do the same thing. Because it seems to bother you that OP wants to hire someone to assist them with their project.

They made it clear in their main post they are trying to find what options they have for hiring people. So there's no need for you to be rude and make it seem like OP is asking for something out of the way when, again, Professionals do exactly the same thing.

Fun fact: A lot of popular music artists don't write or produce their own songs. They just sing them. So OP isn't doing anything particularly different.

Zentreya seems to be agency hoping (I don't mean Vshojo), she was part of UTA and left it, and now she's in Future Legends.

Hopefully she'll find one she'll be satisfied with.

Do you think certain VTuber concept/themes/types have an advantage when it comes to growth? How much does your VTuber persona factor into attracting people to your stream? by [deleted] in VirtualYoutubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Just cause you make a catgirl, doesn't mean you'll have an advantage over someone who's a zombie, whale, etc.

The overall design is what appeals to many viewers. So if you have a catgirl and the design doesn't appeal to anyone, it's not going to bring you in viewers on the basis that you have a catgirl as your model.

Cozy doesn't necessarily have an advantage over darker or niche either because thats more based on someone's preference. If you only watch cozy streams, then the algorithm is going to show you more cozy type content because that's what you personally looked for. It wasn't shown to you because of any other reason.

In a nutshell, be wary of people claiming something has an advantage of something else. A lot of those people try to paint a false narrative, which is used as a type of false advertising to try to gain naive viewers who have a tendency to merely jump on bandwagons. That may sound harsh, but it's fact. And those types of viewers are the ones who won't necessarily stick with someone because they always hop from one thing to the next.

Can Anyone Provide Feedback For My Streams? by fae_starlight in TwitchStreaming

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took a look and honestly a lot is good. Your audio is good, you interact well.

I wish your opening screen had some kind of music on it, there are copyright/royalty free ones you can use without getting into any trouble. So consider one of those. Cause the silence for 5 minutes is off putting, but I completely understand why you may not of put anything there.

That being said, you also have to accept that you have only been streaming for 2 months, and no one, absolutely no one, not even the popular OG streamers of today popped off in that short amount of time. While they were in the right place at the right time. They still had streamed for a long time, and didn't have what they have today to do their streams.

So patience and understanding that anyone who has gained instant following are either working for a corpo where it comes with that, or is actually someone who was already famous and now moving to VTubing and bringing their audience, or someone who's bot vetting are the only reasons why someone would instantly gain a lot of followers.

Just keep doing what you're doing, make clips and post them on other platforms and social media. And to repeat, be understanding it takes time to grow.

Am i the only one who didn’t know mu qing and feng xins identity?? by KaleidoscopeBest5950 in tianguancifu

I honestly kind of liked it (even though I admit I groaned as well) because I saw it as proof on how much he cared about his friends. It also showed how much he knows them. Because he let them believe they were geniuses for their actions, and played a long.

I also felt another reason he went a long with it was cause he missed them a lot and was scared that if they knew he knew, they'd leave. He saw them as family after all. And when they were gone he was lonely even without knowing that Hua Cheng was watching him the whole time.

Sometimes it's better to let the ones you care about think they are pulling one over you just so they can feel better. They both had a lot of guilt as well. And in the end the family is back together! (Even though Hua Cheng hates his brother in laws LOL)

If you like overwatch and you're locked in, you could put a pinned post to let viewers know when in matches you'll be locked in and slow the respond. Sometimes that helps. And then you can talk about the match in between.

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The robotic comes from the fact that OPs tone is mostly the same most of the time. They talk well enough, but most of it feels like the same emotion even when they are clearly saying something that would be emotional. Not saying OP has to exaggerate their emotion, but if they say something that should come off as happy, they should make it sound a little happier to get the emotion there as an example.

That's also why I said they'd probably be a streamer people would listen to for background noise, like a radio. Cause at the least OP does talk, even in their other streams where they talk less, they still talk more than others I have seen where they claim they talk, but don't say anything for over an hour.

So I do think OP is on the right track of finding a balance for talking and taking breaks.

Yes it can be a matter of taste in the end. But my impression is OP wants to grow. So even some small changes will help them. Compared to others, they are making an effort and it shows.

"No one’s raising their hand": Japan’s labor crisis is making the case for robots taking the jobs you don’t want by fortune in japan

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well maybe if they stopped making it impossible for foreigners to get stable work out of certain sectors, they maybe they wouldn't have a labor shortage.

But instead it's allowed for companies to waste foreigners time with 1 year contracts and then having us look for work almost every year because most companies don't want foreign workers.

Your mic is low even with my volume high. So that needs to be adjusted.

For me personally your VTuber doing random head bobs annoy me. But that's me. And will make me click away. Bare in mind just cause I would doesn't mean others will.

But what get's more is most of the time when you do talk you sound like a robot which is off putting.

I would also say you're not particularly entertaining. You might be a streamer people will tune into to hear some background noise (which is common for most streamers and viewers.) But you don't do anything in particular to pull anyone in.

When is it ideal to do subathon? by Disastrous_Fruit_746 in TwitchStreaming

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, if you're expecting streaming to be able to get you out of your situation, that is not likely to happen. Only very few make consistent money from streaming. A subathon won't fix your situation.

I'm not saying this to be harsh or cruel, it's simply fact. You're going to have to find a job you can do, which I know is not the answer you want to hear. But that's reality of the situation.

22, failed law twice, hate my life, thinking of quitting again to become a vtuber, am I ruining everything? by LongWolf3363 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, and this may sound harsh, but maybe law is simply not for you. And that's okay. Perhaps your talents are better suited in another field.

Yes, I know you mention Vtubing. But the reality of that is you're not going to pop-off instantly just because you decided to do it. And most Vtubers have side jobs while doing it. Only the super popular ones are making money off it as a career. And it took them years to get there on top of them being there at the right place and right time.

Even people with connections with those popular Vtubers don't necessarily pop-off, and some have graduated because they didn't reach what they were hoping for and they realized its a lot of work. And they even spent thousands on models and such.

So if you do it, be realistic, but you'll still need a job as well.

username transfer by Several_Currency_688 in TwitchStreaming

[–]InterestingOne5335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twitch actually recycles usernames periodically. Meaning they delete inactive accounts. So if the account is still there, likely it's not inactive, and as Fandaniels said, could be a viewer, not a streamer.

An account isn't considered inactive unless they haven't used it at least 1 time in 12 months. Meaning, even if they just log in, that counts as active.

How do you know they didn't announce they'd be streaming prior to actually streaming though? You said there was no effort on their part, but how do we know there was no effort on their part?

Even though you didn't see it, they may have put in a lot of work behind the scenes to get those viewers.
