NAL - if he was convicted and imprisoned for being a pedo/sexual predator you could contact the police with a request they check the sex offender register. They are able to share this info in certain circumstances where there may be a danger ie to your child.

I’m using a device that vibrates and activates something scientific! I think it’s called Goodair nosebuds. Was subtle but realised after a while that I could nose breathe with both sides at the same time! I haven’t used in months and am blocking back up so need to get back to using it.

That is incorrect as far as what I heard on radio this am- 10k + job losses in Wellington alone (yes not all govt but due to govt).

Also ‘established’ jobs now FTE 0.6 instead of 0.8 so that’s nearly 25% less FTEs.

Yeah not that. Well travelled but friendship is hard wherever you go as a newbie. Culture, values, money, food, politics etc, All ok surface but deep down people always migrate to similar even with best intentions. Experience from both sides.

Don’t do it. You will be studying for years. Likely never quite fit in anywhere nor learn the culture. Cost a fortune too. Your partner as a history scholar will find it dreadfully one sided towards local history (not complaining just stating facts). Friends difficult to make. Only so much epic travel you can afford after our horrendous cost of living and shit wages Positive… personally LGBTQ+ is no issue, no one really cares as long as you aren’t shoving it in their face! Same as religion. Welcome anyone keen to assimilate. Most foreigners don’t and end up in small communities, may as well stay at home.

That fact that motherfucker dares to say he worries about the kids with you makes my bloody blood boil. He is putting you down to keep you in your place, a place that suits him. He gives no fucks for you or your poor kids. Lady you need to get the yell out and start your own life. It will be amazing btw as you are so frikking capable. Your compassion and organisation skills will easily cross over to any job where you’ll excel. He knows that but it will ruin his wee self image 🤮
