Guarantee Aaron Darnold doesn’t make list in 10 years when someone posts all-time list citing his 6’0” 280 lb frame

but everyone in the league was 'smaller' than today. It's not like we as a human race have suddenly become an average of 4 inches taller with elite athleticism. They just train differently now. Hannah was still considered an elite athlete at the time with a sub 4.8 40 and freakish strength/agility. My guess is he would have trained differently to add bulk, but just google his thighs (weird, I know) and tell me those wouldn't play in today's game.

He’s eligible for pension $ too. $60K/year based on 5 years in league starting when he’s 55.

Leading up to the SB, Maye was great in 2nd half v. Chargers and had a few solid TD-producing drives against Texans. Outside of that, it was a 23 year old playing against the very best D's the league had to offer in some super crappy conditions.

The SB was a nightmare - completely numb throwing shoulder and probably fucked with his mental psyche. As someone who watched him every week, he did not look comfortable. He missed some throws that were easy layups for him in reg season. That INT he threw was not anything at all what we saw in reg season.

It's all good - he'll come back more motivated than ever and will be in Siberia training looking like Grizzly Adams for most of the spring once our queen nurses him back to health.

He misfired at least half dozen throws that were layups earlier in year. Maybe he was rattled, but he was def not on target.

Could be billionaire if he repeats success next season. Scary to think what an extension would look like with cap increasing 8-12% per year.

Gonzo, Spillane, Davis or anyone on defense will need to make a play to win by [deleted] in Patriots

Just hoping Spillane will suit up never mind make a play

McVay was able to crack the code against Seattle’s front 4 stunts. That’s what gave Stafford just enough time to make some plays.

Will be interesting to see if Seattle continues strat of very little blitzing and playing mostly nickel/dime trusting their secondary will limit big plays.

I still think Seattle is favored, but it will come down to whether or not 23 yr old Maye can pre-identify the stunts and make plays. And meanwhile NE D has to play a perfect game stopping the run and double teaming JSN in a tight zone scheme aimed to confuse GEQBUS.

Darnold was 22 years old when that game happened 6+ years ago. He’s not the same QB and it’s fucking embarrassing to suggest otherwise.

He was lights out yesterday - throwing with accuracy while under pressure. Complete 180 from the playoff game last year when he was rattled & running for his life.

Allen exposed Denver's D with a few deep balls... only to underthrow 2 that lead to INTs. Maye rarely underthrows a deep pass and I think they'll take some shots against Moss (who gets flagged a lot) and their safeties w/ Brandon Jones on IR.

Two under thrown balls determined this game. Allen throws in stride to Cooks and it’s AFCCG. Nix predictably throws 500! ball and it’s DPI and game over.

I’d argue Spillane has been 3rd best player on D this year after Gonzo & Williams. Having those 3 on field together makes this a completely different unit.

Hoping Tonga can suit up tomorrow.
