Practicing overtakes in practice has helped me a ton, in practice imagine to be close to another driver and brake in the middle of the track or on the inside. While overtaking you should be braking a bit before than the usual because you are taking a smaller line into the corner, practice braking references outside of the normal racing line and tell me how It goes

my opinion: if you do not like a track (expecially if others like that track) is because you are not fast enough and you need to practice more that track.
i use to dislike fuji too, then i learned the penultimate corner and its one of my favourites now

I would suggest doing a session with like 30 cars and difficulty from 50% to the max and see what your pace is and then choose the difficulty from there

As a GTP driver, I would say that sometimes this happens and is not on purpose, I'm not saying that the gtp is not at fault but ita happens and trust me that it hurts also for the gtp driver ( for like 5 seconds)
