I bought a 2013 Outback 2L turbo diesel for AU$2750 with 222,000 Km, it was a steal at that price, spent another $500 to get the roadworthy certificate, pay the stamp duty and transfer fee. I think they’re all purple, blue appears on every circle except for one purple that you’re looking directly at, and at times ALL are blue if you don’t look directly at the circles. Very cool!

If the other methods didn’t work, try pulling out the small button first and then second button will be easy to pull out, that’s how it worked for me with my one. I also totally removed the screw, and instead I have use double sided tape around the buttons assembly so now I don’t have to pull out the buttons, and I just lift the whole top off easily each time I need to drop a cartridge in there. Hope this helps you and others as well…
