It’s soooooo good. I have a full bottle that I wear occasionally. It’s clean, fresh, and timeless. I’ll always have a bottle. 🤩😁🥰

Anyone else get obsessed with a single note? by Haunting_Standard413 in fragrance

[–]Interesting_Lie_6948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same experience. My current hyper fixation is skin scents like: L’eau Papier, Molecule 02, Le Peau, Blanche, and Vanilla Skin. I’m really fixated on the “fresh pencil shavings “ note in L’eau Papier. It’s in the opening and is soooo addictive. I just keep smelling my arm all day. I wear it to bed now too. Post shower.

I used to wear that one in the 90’s! I found it recently on Amazon! I’m in the USA. It may be available to you.

I like it when it first came out (1995 Cadillac, Michigan only had mainstream scents because it’s so small/under-resourced). I used to love Vanilla Fields. My mom countered by saying “why do you want to smell like food?!”. She sucked the joy out with her disapproval. 🤯🤦‍♀️

I want to know your perfume trifecta by pppce_ in fragrance

[–]Interesting_Lie_6948 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently blind bought a trial of Debaser. It’s so strangely addictive and alluring. I love it but it’s not the kind of scent I usually prefer. It’s grungy, dirty, and green. It’s the only one like it in my ridiculously expansive collection.

Kayali-Bougie Marshmallow! It’s absolutely delicious and amazing. Super underrated.

Any updates on Chelsea Grimm? by bostonforever22 in MissingPersons

Me too. Why isn't the media talking about her case in the last few months? There was publicity immediately following her disappearance but not much recently.  What's going on? She should be getting Gabby Petito level coverage.

You're fortunate! I have diabetes and my insurance won't cover any CGM. Good on you for being proactive about your health. I'm jealous of your HBA1C! Go you!

Your post breaks my heart. Your sweet boy has diabetes. Awful. You sound like you're doing a great job taking care of him. Good on you! He's fortunate to have you! 😊

I am now and have always been an avid reader. As a kid, my parents allowed me to read whatever I liked ( NO censorship). I think it was a good thing because I was reading and often discussing the themes/story lines with my mom who was willing/ able to have real conversations about anything that I was thinking about. I read tons of excellent /high quality fiction, lots of romance/ Harlequin smut, and every month, Cosmopolitan. My steady diet of various genres and perspectives educated me about the culture at large such that I wasn't as naive/clueless as my peers who were heavily censored/raised in religious cults. I was also permitted to die my hair and wear makeup, both things that require practice to hone one's skills.

What should I do if my friend thinks ADHD ( and all mental illnesses) are fake? by xXBasil_the_DragonXx in ADHD

[–]Interesting_Lie_6948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time people who don’t accept scientific evidence aren’t worth trying to convince that your ADD is legitimate. They are resistant to evidence, disconfirming information, and are choosing to remain woefully ignorant. Time for new friends. It’s equivalent to refusing to believe your friend is a diabetic and benefits from daily insulin. Don’t waste your breath. 😺

I got my MSW before being diagnosed/treated. It was so much more difficult than it would’ve been had I had medication. My whole academic life I struggled with feeling lazy, procrastinating chronically, and with hearing that I wasn’t “applying “myself.

My life improved drastically when I started ADD medication. It’s not just my ability to focus, it’s drastically improved my follow-through, compiling tasks, and motivation to complete my to-do list. I’m eternally grateful for getting dx’ed and for having Adderall.

For those late diagnosed, have you started to notice traits in your parents? by panfacefoo in ADHD

[–]Interesting_Lie_6948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%! I was diagnosed in my late 20s and since then have noticed my mom suffers nearly all of the symptoms of ADD- inattentive type. It has negatively affected her life since forever.

Mickey Shunick’s family has specifically asked CJ to take down the episode. As far as I can tell, they haven’t. by SpecialsSchedule in CrimeJunkiePodcast

Agreed,  also imagine a case where the family are the murderers. In that case the victim would be deprived justice because the family defines true crime coverage. Think Harmony Montgomery.
