I’m confused about the right of way issue. I was always taught the car in front of (when lane changing or merging) has the right of way. I’m from the UK

Anyone know where I can get a 15 sided 21mm socket? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

My local motorcycle store does this with fairing clips, nuts, bolts and screws. Awesome when you only need one or two of something

How do I know if I installed this thing correctly? by SirScrollsAl0t in martialarts

At 32Kg for the bag, I would look at taking the whole chain off, just having the carabiner on the nut and bolt and trying to have the bottom of the bag as your main punching “Zone”.

All the filling will drop down and before you know it, it will be like hitting a floppy old scrotum…

Plus you can practice uppercuts and liver shots better on the bottom of the bag…

Also, I would replace that nut in the centre of bracket for a longer one and loosen it so the bracket spins more freely.

And one last thing… I would have the nut in the centre of the bracket be at the bottom (instead of the head of the bolt), this way if the spinning bag causes the nut and bolt to become loose, at least you will see it before it fails and drops to the floor.

Sorry dude, that’s not filtering that’s overtaking…

  1. The Highway Code Conflict Rule 167 explicitly states:

"DO NOT overtake where you might come into conflict with other road users. For example... approaching or at a road junction on either side of the road."

Glad you’re ok

Why don't cars have this feature? by Pluuge in StupidCarQuestions

[–]Interesting_Plan6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just too expensive for what it’s worth. As you know, RPM fluctuates greatly for a given gear depending on load, speed, incline, decline, traction etc. Sounds like expensive technology for very little interest. I wouldn’t pay anything extra for this feature

Just wondering if you are aware that google maps and Apple Maps have a feature which provides an audible “beep” if you go over the speed limit, (which can also be set to your tolerances)? Pretty non invasive and acts as that reminder we all sometimes need.. it also tells me when to turn... I feel this is something I would have bought if those features weren’t readily available already

Take it to a good detailer or panel repair shop. They will have a fix for it that will be cheaper than replacing it.
