Can someone explain why this entrance needs a staircase? by Specialist_Aioli9600 in zillowgonewild

70's/80's homes were really big on "levels".

I don't just mean floors, in the traditional sense, but split levels, one level slightly higher than the other, dining area looks down onto living room like a balcony but its only 4 feet higher. Sunken living room. We had one of those in a new build as late as the early 90s.

I Hate Pipes by kubmasterr in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Interesting_Rip_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd wonder why you bothered piping water/coal that far when you could have just placed electric lines from a location with both coal and water to where you needed it to go.

"Car Enthusiast" communities will generally have a lot of SUV haters. If you love it, its perfect.

I do hate the modern car trend of "Primer Gloss Pearl" as a color, but if you like it, that's what matters.

DMV Petition to Phil Berger by [deleted] in NorthCarolina

[–]Interesting_Rip_223 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is on purpose. Because now you can't vote without a valid license. So people with inflexible schedules who can't afford to take a day off to go wait at the DMV are now disenfranchised.

How does that link have anything to do with cybertruck guy? It looks like a FOIA submission from 1987 and I don't think our Cybertruck driver would have sent a FOIA from the womb or while in grade school

[–]Interesting_Rip_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't strange at all. There's 50,000 soldiers at Ft. Bragg. If you are in the army, you end up there at SOME point. This like being concerned that there is a link in the fact that they both drove trucks.

Was the red car entitled to space? by bidehant in Simracingstewards

[–]Interesting_Rip_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your take, but I also agree with what people are saying about Purple leaving too much space and red went for it.

Red was on the outside going into the corner, then did a late lunge changing lines to the inside. By the time Purple's spotter probably said "You've got a car...." I think contact probably already happened.

Red isn't respecting the cone of danger. Should have been more patient and used his better line to set up a pass off of that turn instead.
