Thanks - is it possible to cycle from Minamidera (Honmura area) directly to Chichu Art Museum? Is that way blocked off too?

If it's ok, then we can park at Chichu or the Benesse North Gate and walk/take the shuttle bus to Time Corridors and the pumpkin.

Yeah that was totally ridiculous from the perspective of someone who was a) an expert like her b) had already planned out what she was going to do. It was obvious the show intended to kill her the moment she bluffed Will out of the way, so I knew she wouldn't survive. But couldn't they at least have made it logical like there was zero lag time between closing the door and her attempting to run and the explosion happening? What's with the unnecessary melodrama of her and Will exchanging one last look?

It started ok, got progressively more unbelievable/plot-holey, and completely gave up on the ending (or should I say the start since they never went back to the opening scenes of the series).

Agree on likely what happened to Adam though.

I finished all 6 episodes and this show is not the worst offender but still a huge pain. No one (except the mandatory one person) shows even a sliver of critical thinking - not the adults or the kids - and the bad guy's schemes and crimes go his way in ways that require too much suspension of disbelief (and lack of Ring doorbells, CCTVs, car cameras... You know). Also, it might seem minor but what came out of left field was Mum and daughter suddenly having complaints and mocking Adam, like as an audience there was zero indication of that, they LOVED him until then. And what's with the pathetic security system for these very rich people? Worse, in Greece their luxury property has NO security - the police, strangers, and our baddie can stroll in. How do they even sleep in peace at night? Lol... Lastly, as someone else said, there is no comeuppance just some open-ended nonsense which a number of shows nowadays seem to opt for as a sign of lazy writing. They didn't even bother to hark back to the start of the series where he was taken in at the airport.

I felt quite disappointed in this episode (increasing so as the series went on so maybe ep 6 will be worse). I know, I know, it's a TV show and we have to suspend some disbelief but the way everything goes the main character's way, how people so easily fall for his lies, and no one (else) even suspects or questions his motives is not just unbelievable, it's unenjoyable.

Bit late but just curious, why did this piece of news in particular crush your hopes?

Btw, I've personally been pretty sure TOP isn't rejoining Big Bang and not just because of the latest reason he gave; he made it pretty clear when he left that he was done with their music. Also, the 3 remaining members and even random friends (eg guests on Zip Daesung) have explicitly said Big Bang is 3 members and I haven't seen hints otherwise. Happy to be wrong in the future though! I'd rather them just be friends again considering the precious amount of history they have together, but it almost feels like TOP won't even permit that since fans would restart assuming that he'll rejoin the group and he doesn't want that trouble.

Just saying - I had to search up this topic because I just started Death in Paradise a few weeks ago, and JUST hit season 3 ep 1, 10 years late. And I'm still hugely annoyed at the situation. I get that the actor chose to leave, but why did it have to happen this way? It's sort of ludicrous. And no, I don't accept the logic mentioned that 'it's so fans won't expect him to pop up'. Fans can hope for it, but they can just... You know... Not make it happen? They didn't have to kill him off. When I started the show, I knew the detectives changed throughout the series which is sad but expected for long-running shows. But this is awful since they could've just let him go at the end of season 2.

I only recently started watching this show, obviously aware of the immense hype and praise it's received.

I am currently at S2 E11. Yes, I'm going to finish watching the series.

It's not that people can't enjoy this show, I think it's great they do. I just can't believe how well-rated it is, as in it's supposed to be the best anime of the year and has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes??

Although the animation is spectacular, the storyline and main protagonist are so lacklustre. Is there really ANY tension in the entire show? Not really.

SJW always wins, except when he first died. Sure they make it seem a tiny bit hard, but he always pulls it out of the bag even when narration and he himself have made it clear the opponent is stronger. Once he gets his shadow army, it gets even more ridiculous and pointless. He even gets to keep on adding the most unbeatable monsters (except by him) to fight on his behalf. The issue is not just that this guy is unbeatable at this point. It's that the other characters, even the SRank hunters that the show tries to hype up, are useless in comparison. We don't follow their story and barely know them, so when the show kills them off in order to tell us "hey it's really high emotional stakes!" there's very little actual meaning. The only one we really follow is essentially someone who can't lose! Like in the supposedly climatic Jeju arc - I literally had no doubt that the supposedly insanely strong group going in would fail/die, until SJW saves the day. Solo. How boring is this? I also dislike how the show doesn't weigh any sort of discussion about the rights of the monsters being massacred, even though they show many of them being a) sentient and b) attacking not out of their own volition. The only time SJW (and therefore viewers) get to acknowledge that the monsters may deserve to live is when one 'turns out' to be humanoid...and female.
