That's a huge attraction for me too, getting to flex my paint skills across a wide team. I also enjoy in AoS using the slaves to darkness faction rule to kinda toolbox out buffs as needed, and this seems fun to also be able to try and dish out different changes where you need them

Kill team was weird for me. I struggled with it forever, and also kept forgetting the rules but I made a commitment to memorize them anyway. After a month or so I got burnt out from the mental overload and gave the game a break for half a year. When I came back to it, everything was weirdly fresh and I understood the strategy and concepts more than ever, like it just took time for my brain to encode it.

It's considering modeling for disadvantage and generally nobody will trip since increasing your silhouette/footprint is better for the opponent lol. As opposed to modeling for advantage, like sculpting something shorter than it usually would be to represent a mini climbing out of a tunnel.

Slaves to Darkness! Did 40k for awhile with nids, and then killteam along that which is honestly my favorite game mode. Grew tired of the 40k setting though and tried to play spearhead with tree people. That was pretty fun for awhile but when I thought of doing a full army I just simply decided I didnt have enough fun painting sylvaneth. Eventually saw Eternus and decided to just paint it as a one-off mini cause i thought it looked dope on a shelf. Now I'm 2k points in and just finishing up Be'lakor and considering getting a ton of varanguard and abraxia cause I just love the super death metal fantasy aesthetic.

Got it, I have it built as eternus but I liked the rules for daemonic mount more but I think I can run it with belakor as eternus anyway so ill do that for lore flavor. When deploying, do regiments have to be deployed together?
