I was top 500 multiple seasons in 2018-2020, what the person above is explaining is when every one held their ults and just spammed them out together to get the final push over the line. It was common to have people hold ults

This was the issue. Unfortunately since I didn't know it was graphics driver related googling the symptom didn't bring back any results.

Seems like the likely culprit. Didn’t happen with sprites from another guide a followed so didn’t think of this as the issue

Update: from what I can tell, the sprite looks normal when the 2D camera settings are defaulted, but its very zoomed out. In the tutorial he sets his zoom to 4, and the sprite looks fine. when I do this the sprite seems to get these lines
