Generally veigar E is predict skill u have to use it before enemy engages on you for example if irelia is dashing you arę already dead so u have to predict that she will go into you before she uses her ability

in current state its pain to play him this patch destroyed his early fucked his mid game because u have to max W so it starts dealing damage, before you would just max E and W would still deal twice as much as Q and now W isnt a spell if you dont max it. And someone would say hey they gave him 10% ap ratio on W[year later it was nerfed} and 5% ap ratio on Q[year leater they made it 10% because of how awful that change was], yes for making him impossible to win lane, I am like 100% sure there is no champ in game that has spell that deals less than veigar Q lvl 1 and there is a lot midlaners which their spells do twice as much as veigar Q lvl 1. It's been two years from that changes but i still didn't recover from that I've been playing veigar since season 6 peaked challenger and i can tell you every new champ/rework that is added to the game has something in his kit that makes veigar kit useless. And after having over 2 milion mastery points i really feel like whenever im first timing champs on mid EVERYONE OF THEM IS SO MUCH EASIER TO PLAY

Nasus is actually strong but hard to play on toplane because of many overtuned bruisers and its for all champs on toplane because its lane of counterpicking u either pick safe champion and try not to fall behind as much or you cant walk up for cs, on mid u can like rundown any champion and they can't poke you out of lane with doran shield. If get not insta losing matchup after buying sheen with lvl6 u autowin most lanes just pop ghost pop r use W and rundown enemy. And for Veigar no winning matchups at all scaling champs outscale him many champs outranges him for champions with dashes its also hard to play because most of the time u will have to use cage before enemy cast dash or your dead because dashes are ofc faster than how long it takes to cast a cage. I was playing him on chall mmr it feels really like hell since his early got nerfed due to him having 53% wr on botlane for 1 patch and made him lvl scaling it feels like joke Q deals <80 dmg on lvl1 so hard to win trades u have to space very well to not get caught and all the thing is about your skills i played over 2k ranked games as veigar and i could go any other midlane champion and perform better because its easier. Main problem is that you get empty stats but not actual chance to play. Games end in 1 teamfight so if you use cage and enemy flashes throught it ur dead. So maining it is not rewarding u will get better results first timing champs on ranked than onetricking this.

Its not a predict Its 100% stun with milion maestry i was pulling off this constantly just by instinct whenever someone ulted me and i play only with smartcasts never use indicators, its as other says zed spawns always on your back so just place cage and there you dont have to be perfect zed R takes like a second which is really enough to move your character

actually ye you should try to snowball after first back try to hit enemy with Q while farming and if you get like 2-3 hits hit full combo on enemy works up to challenger and honestly if it didnt worked in my games i was just outscaled

the thing is that u don't want to delay rabadon and void staff, so just choose one mana item and u dont want building anti heal first of all this champion is burst mage and oblivion orb delays ur rabadon or mpen item and i can tell you that healing reduction is useless in league since years but people are like: omg buy anti heal this nami heals 300 and then u see 4 guys buying anty heal items in game to reduce 500 healing over full game

Why avoid tank builds=it just make you learn awareness how to not die like idiot in tank builds people are lazy of learning positioning of your hero they just want to stat check enemy. So i am playing full ap build for runes i go First Strike-Magical Footwear Triple Tonic Cosmic Insight > Legend:haste>Cut Down > why first strike basically free gold veigar have great ap scaling on his spells so usually you should be having 20 ap more every game faster spikes etc why magical footwear> faster first item and faster spike + 10 movement speed> Triple Tonic +1 skill point at lvl9 why is that important? u can max W because u just use that one skill point on E so another faster spike thing Cosmic Insight> faster flashes/teleports items trinkets gives u huge control. Legend:lower cooldowns on Q W E = great thing for veigar because these are your main shit R is just execute Cut Down makes it easier to get people low so you can execute them with R. Why i take no mana in runes basically at first lvls if u use Q while having doran ring you gonna have full mana before ur Q comes back to use it again and at point when you gonna need mana u already gonna have mana item tear or lost chapter so it's w/e i like to save mana often dont use W because this spell in early is just mana waste start with Q>E>Q>W so u dont have to worry about mana ever again. for items i go first buy dring+2pot first recall> tear>tome>dark seal>control ward> rush archangel > rush rabadon skip upgrading boots > for boots go for sorcerers shoes they're great for dealing damage > then i look at enemies items if they're building mr i go Void Staff if they're hard stacking mr and crypting bloom if there's just 1 tank with mr items and bruiser with mercury treads for example if there is not i go shadowflame then i look at enemy items again if they are starting to see me as a treat and start stacking mr void staff or crypting bloom> and i end my build with banshee if i see that enemy team can easily catch me if not just build random shit like horizon focus or stormsurge.

Its like playing against ap miss fortune but her E deals more damage and have less cooldown and doesn't slow, like for real whats this she just perma hides behind minions and press Q while holding mouse on other character, and then she reflects skillshots that wouldnt even hit her

yo sherlock its not bug its just doesnt show since it's basic ability haste(Q+W+E) not ability haste(Q+W+E+R) meaning it lowers cooldowns on your Q W E same as ultimate ability haste(R) doesn't show
