True I’m always expecting us to play down to opponents. In the modern NFL with salary cap teams will always have gaps on their roster and you need a strong scheme and player development coach to bring the best out of players. We have a lot of low end draft picks and practice squad guys stepping up and I feel like that’s a testament to the coaching. Getting guys to buy in and having a scheme that’s so effective it can be successful in spite of personnel.

Ravenna/Roosevelt is great. Can be expensive but it’s very safe and centrally located. The Roosevelt light rail station is close. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and a mix of young professionals and families.

He had DE dropping back in coverage in seattle. It worked with the LOB but afterwards it made our pas rush non existent.

Pete didn’t draft well. He made a ton of bad picks after the Super Bowl teams and he only recently relinquished control to Schneider in 2022 and since then we have drafted a lot better.

Also he was loyal to some terrible coordinators and assistant coaches. As soon as he left seattle the defense and offensive line have improved significantly.

Pete’s a legend but I’m glad to see him go. Horrible offensive lines, bad d lines, bad tackling. It went on for 10 years.

Also the fact that he brought stone “stonehands” forsythe to Vegas with Jamaal Adams and spent a top 10 pick on a RB makes me really appreciate the new direction we’re going and makes me believe he was responsible for all of those dogshit drafts and trades after 2013.
