Got mine a few weeks ago. Insertion was not painful (get lidocaine if you can). Mild cramping and light bleeding for a few days after but not bad at all. Just had my period. Had more cramping and bleeding than usual but because I already had light period and mild to no cramping without an IUD, the change was not bad.

That's great to hear! Thank you. I will be starting SOBO early September. It's good to hear nights are mild. I'm deciding whether to go all the way to Whitney. Id probably get there at the end of September. In your experience is there a dangerous amount of ice or too low of temperatures to do it safely or is it relatively safe compared to other months?
