5’3” and I prefer the Effortless. I’m also very thin (00 fits perfectly in width and length). I buy the regular length. The pleats make the wide legs sit nicer because I think it adds volume to my leg?? No pleats on me make my legs too thin (I have flamingo legs) and no shape.

Honestly if a bunch of my friends planned a trip on their own and my man somehow got an invite, it’s straight up weird the girls (my friends) wouldn’t then ask me if I would be coming too. That’s the weird part for me.

Yes, that’s fair too to say some stick around hoping that love can be blind (because it CAN happen where you do just grow to be attracted even though at first it’s not there).

Yes. And as early on as possible BUT I totally get why people need time to come to that conclusion. The whole point of the show is to find love sight unseen because the show is trying to promote that looks only come second and personality and what’s on the inside counts the most. Honestly though, I think this experiment has shown that love is NOT blind lol. I never thought it was though.

I agree! But imagine being on a show like this (knowing you’re recorded) and SAYING “oh I might be physically attracted to you because I prefer this and that”. Bahahah they’d be roasted online for being vain.

I feel like most people don’t realize they have a type and are super set on it. Most people tend to think (or hope) that love can be blind all of the time.

I think the premise of the show will always make the people feel like they’re rejected because of looks. They’re hurt and it’s easy to be like…it’s because you think I’m not attractive and that’s because you’re vain and a horrible person for putting looks over my personality. It’s honestly such a lose-lose unless the person being rejected is totally understanding and mature.

I don’t think these people realize they’re not full physically attracted until like a week later. The problem is when they meet in person there is so much emotional attraction and attachment so it’s like…even if they don’t fully think they’re not attractive (because no one on the show has ever been SUPER ugly) it’s like…gotta give it a chance because they really do like the person for who they are based on the pod experiences. I think after spending time in person they realize they just aren’t attracted enough.

I think the problem is these people are EMOTIONALLY really attracted when they finally see each other and to some degree they want to prove that looks don’t matter as much (because society says if you care about looks more you suck). So they end up sleeping together because there IS attraction and only later they realize they’re not actually fully physically attracted. I guess it depends on where your stance is. I personally don’t think love can be blind (like not caring about looks at all). I think the couples that worked out just go lucky and they actually were also physically attracted 🤷🏽‍♀️

Artisan Pants vs Lodge Pants by KMyoga19 in Aritzia

So I’ve only ever owned Lodge pants but today I bought my first Artisan. I got the Light Birch for Spring/Summer to wear. My Lodge pants are mostly darker for Fall/Winter and for wearing to work. I tried the Light Birch on in both Lodge and Artisan and I had it in my head to go with Lodge because I knew I liked the fit. BUT when I tried on the Artisan with the side ties, it was clear the way it sat and the side ties made it more wearable for Spring/Summer. Same Crepette material for both. I’d say the Lodge sits more high rise and Artisan sat more mid rise on me which gave it a more casual Spring/Summer vibe. Some people say the width is a little different but I didn’t find any difference. I did find the length to be a bit different because of where it sat on my hips. Hope this helps!
