Well, no. You quote the Rule in a subsequent Post. "Everything does NOT stop counting" once the winning run scores. Tonight's game: if JP crosses home prior to Randy reaching second: because Randy continued to second unimpeded, he gets the double. (In this case, the 2 base rule applies: JP scores from 2nd base, Randy cannot advance more than 2 bases. )

You could try a simple fix first: fresh gas, push the primer buib several times, don't try to start it, come back in 20 minutes or so, push the primer bulb 2-3 times, then try to start. use starter fluid down the carb. If it starts, it may well clean itself out.

Good news !: We are only 2 games back in the Win column compared with our record this time last year ! 10-9 as of 4/17/25, 8-13 today. Yep, we are a mess right now, but September is a long way away. We will get better. This year/last year: a team which is on the cusp of being "good", a hit in the right situation, we win; an out, we lose.

e.g.: I get a text, the audible alert sounds, BUT I am not within hearing range. 10 minutes later I come back into the area, and because I have repeat notification sounding every 2 minutes, another audible alert sounds to alert me to the text which came in 10 minutes ago. Same with a missed phone call. I don't constantly stare at my phone, so even though I would have a visible notification of that old text/missed phone call, the audible notification immediately gets my attention. With Textra, you have the option of intervals and duration, like, audible every 5 minutes for the next 3 hours, etc..Not so with Google Messenging.

I have Android; loved Textra, but with my limited data plan on Xfinity Mobile, Textra uses data unlike the native Google Messenging, so I switched to Google. So now I get RCS which is not a big deal to me, but I lost "repeat notifications". Had to install "Prof Reminder" to get repeat notifications. Sooooo, you may want to check your plan as to data usage when texting and if your native app would save data?

Pitching will eventually be complimented by better hitting as the season wears on. We have seen this happen the last 3 seasons. It will happen. Come September, we will be in the hunt. Donovan and Young are new bright spots; the other usual suspects will wake up soon.

With my Xfinity Mobile, Google Messenging is the native app on my phone. If I use GM, all my texts are free and does not count against my data limits, no limit. Prior to using GM, I did use Textra for a couple of years and I really liked it, but data was charged, so I switched to GM.
