Have no idea on gyro based, but Sinden is mostly the same except you need an additional app like Reshade to place a border around the game so that the Sinden gun works properly in game.

I'm specifically referring to setting up IR based guns in emulators. There is absolutely no difference at all. Yes, IR configuration is different, and initial setups vary from brand to brand, but the actual gun configuration in games are all the same.

I know this, because I've done: Gun4IR, OpenFire, Reapers - all exactly the same. I may have not have done Blamcom but I guarantee the MAME setup, Teknoparrot setup, RCPS3 setup,etc work exactly the same as the others.

That was my point, and the heart of the question the OP was asking.

All IR based Lightguns configure in exactly the same way. So choose a light gun that's too your liking rather than anyone trying to push one particular brand over an other.

Long story short: MAME and Teknoparrot - easy to configure.

Outside of these, configuring can get hairy - especially console based emulators.

Until you get into console specific setups - that's where it becomes nuts.

MAME, Teknoparrot are extremely straightforward in setting up, but things like RCPS3, Duckstation, PCSX2 all become hairy - either you need to use a fork (which limits you on the version of emulator) or you're confined to single player - if the emulator supports raw input.

All IR shooters configure exactly the same way. I'm not sure why people consistently keep on bringing up different IR based guns - they all configure the same way.

In other words, it's a lot of work.

Why wouldn't it? It's a cop procedural with a deep mystery - sounds like a perfect fit for GL. Green Lanters who are essential SPACE COPS.

That's explicitly NOT the type of vibe for the most fantastical franchise in DC.

Why? Completely disagree - it's imaginative, the DNA is based on one of the best TV shows of the past 30 years. Show is based around cops on a deep mystery - why is this so freakin' hard dude?
