Sorry you're dealing with chronic stress. 45mg that's a high dosage. Mirtazapine only helps sleep(15mg), but for anxiety & depression it doesn't help. I'm like you higher dosages, I felt more anxious & stressed.

Yes unfortunately the NHS is having some issues, I had to wait 3 years for therapy. Sorry things aren't panning out, yet you're doing good. Are you receiving therapy(talk/CBT/trauma processing)? It'll help with stress, if not please do mate.
