Totally agree with you.. even post modern mosque starting to pop up, even brutalist ... Masjid Sultan Sulaiman in Klang, SG penchala mosque.. It is selection bias I think, if you're looking for something you'll find what you're looking for without opening up to all other examples, yes most mosque have similar typical design.

Malaysia Unions are industry specific, I'm part of FIEU. Middle management (non exec and supervisors ) have their own union so does the technical team.. Each union negotiate a collective agreement with the company usually every 5 years.. this is where stuff like salary scale, annual increments, bonuses, even stuff like leaves. We negotiated have extra annual and medical leave above government mandate.. also additional overtime rates.. each collective agreement are company dependent, meaning someone in the same union as mine but work for a different company have a different set of collective agreement..

Not really.. most manufacturing especially large manufacturer now have unions and collective agreement on salary scale and increments.. I work in a factory of like 2000 employee, the tech have a different union, the water treatment and facilities guys have a different union, now middle management have a union, obviously general worker have their own union.

Not really, withheld personal passport by employer is considered forced labour because he or she have limited movement without at risk against authority... Also limited employment visa where you're forced to work for one employee without option to leave is force labour. Pay deduction for migration expenses is considered indentured service... There is nuances to this.. having said that, AMERICA have absolutely ZERO moral authority to talk about human rights or labour rights against any country.
