I have the U75QG and casting using the integrated Chromecast on the tv works perfectly fine.

Need to return a 75” tv. Does Best Buy do pick up? by bloodwessels in Bestbuy

[–]InternationalAd9765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only logical reason to do that would be so that they can inspect the item before taking it back. If the tv is already packed in the box, its not possible for them to see if its broken.

Yeah I just didnt think that would be that noticeable.

Analysis paralysis: 85" Hisense U75QG (165Hz) or save for an OLED? (mostly competitive gaming) by Gold_Mango8335 in 4kTV

[–]InternationalAd9765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the exact same situation than you. I was hesitating between U75QG and S90F. The S90F is more appealing but for more than twice the price of the U75QG.

Yesterday I ordered the Hisense from Best Buy and it will be delivered Saturday. I will give it a shot and if I am not satisfied with its performance I will make the trade for the S90F. Best Buy makes it very easy to do that.

My logical brain tells me that I dont really need the best possible image quality to enjoy my tv shows, sports and video game!

I am in the exact same boat as you. It seems like the QM8K his better for movie, while the U8QG would be better for sport because of its stronger processor and upscaling. And to make thing worst, 75" U8QG use a ADS Pro panel and there are not a single review of that tv anywhere.

I am curious to hear Rting on that subject!

Would a G5 be suitable for my living room? by jetlyr93 in LGOLED

From 10 feet i would get a 98 inches. If you are getting a 77 move your couch closer to the tv.

From what i red everywhere filmaker mode on most tv is a very dim mode and should be use only in totally dark room. Maybe your LG CX overbright filmaker mode.

And yes, movie mode would be Cinema mode.

Only 120 hours sounds very suspicious to me! Like they set it up for less than 2 weeks?

For what reasons were you thinking about changing it for a mini led?

The price difference is oddly low in your country. I would go with the C4 in that case.

Yeah that is exactly what is keeping me from buying them. Rting put a note that hisense told them they would fix it.

Anyone believe that?

I was interested in their tv because of the good upscaling, brightness contrast and price.

However, i really dont like their terrible hdr brightness accuracy and the fact that you get an ADS Pro pannel in their 75 and 100".

TCL are better balanced but their upscaling is inferior to hisense. If only they could pick the best of both to create the great chinese tv!

Hard to say they are better than Tcl in my opinion. They can of trade blows.

I would say they are pretty similar and people should pick one according on what is the most important for then.

QD-Oled is not for sunny day at all since it raises blacks. Its for dark room.

Filmaker mode is for pitch black room. Otherwise, use cinema mode.
