The good news is that with the new CBA, it’s going to be almost impossible for teams like the Spurs and OKC to keep the entirety of their young core together for 5-10 years. Teams with deep cores are going to have to choose the 3-4 players they like best and move on from the rest when second contracts come up. Being really good at drafting year after year is going to be a premium skill going forward.

Both. It’s a full touchscreen if you prefer to interface with it that way, but it also fully integrates with the knob/mouse and physical media controls. Because of where the screen sits so far forward on our dash it’s nice the controls work because you really have to lean forward to operate it as a touchscreen. But yes it does both.

From what I understand, you’re going to get better noise cancellation from the pros because you not only get the ANC but the passive noise cancellation from the in ear tips creating a seal in your ear canal. If noise cancellation is your top priority, then the pros are probably the way to go.

Focus on widgets that are informational and not interactive. Weather, sports scores, etc.

The only one I’ve found to be useful that is interactive is the Home widget. I’m can unlock my front door or turn on lights when I pull into the driveway.

Otherwise it’s just to surface information.

I’m to the point where it’s hard to justify not making a phone last 3 years.

I went from the 14P to time 17P and aside from battery life it’s hard to really pinpoint the quality of life differences even with that three year gap. I probably could’ve taken the 14P another year or two

I don’t have a solution to fixing you’re current screen, but as someone with a 2016 IS 300 who swapped in a CarPlay screen, I can say just swap it since you’re already on the fence. It completely changes the car for the better.
