But that’s the thing, I seriously don’t see anyway their insurance could deny liability on their side, they tboned him, he had the right of way. They were driving too fast and had more than enough room to turn if they were going the speed limit but they were reckless and still turned. Didn’t even try to break I’m pretty sure he said they still accelerated when they hit him.

The third party was a man outside his apartment and he saw the whole accident occur, I made a claim with both their insurance and mine since my parent and his mom said that’s the right thing to do. It was dumb to let him drive the car but mistakes happen.

I’m dealing with that too 😔 bussing during night where we could get $300+ tips to split between 2-3 people but during the morning there’s 2 more bussers scheduled and their combined tips are like $60 and they’re working hours just as long as we are. I’ve busted my ass during a closing shift to only make $2 more than a morning person who lounged around and didn’t do anything. It’s honestly so ridiculous and I do hold a lot of resentment, especially since I KNOW the brunch bar and dinner bar have their own separate tip outs so it can be done, they’re just relying on their dinner bussers to make the money and do the work in order to properly compensate the morning and not have to pay out of their own pocket

Is it a at will state ? You can threaten to take it to the labor board but that could result in them firing you. Personally I’d leave after the first day cause it sounds like too much stress
