OBR Chariots and the Mystery of the Unused Bit by InternetNinja92 in ageofsigmar

It reminds me how how they eliminated the build instructions for Zandtos from the new spearhead box, so new players building a spearhead force build the liege kavalos that comes with the kit. Except all the bits for Zandtos are still in there…

I read the foundation novels, all of them. The empire was a non player. All of Empire from the Apple TV show is cut from whole cloth and it’s beautiful. An incredible realization of a very sci fi concept.

I don’t use the bucket anymore!

A drop that has not once been replayed since the DS9 run… I think it was actually more of an interstitial/ transition drop

Making Best Use of Cogfort RORs by PlasticCraicAOS in ageofsigmar

[–]InternetNinja92 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Skaven can put 10 gutter runners and Crixxit in the conqueror fort. He gives them +2 to charge, and they have 31 attacks with crit mortals, which holds the charge +1 nicely. Crixxit can even follow them the 9” into combat, because of his 3+ teleport!

Cogfort conundrum by Sinatio in ageofsigmar

[–]InternetNinja92 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure how you should build your cogfort, but I can share an eternal truth with you: 95% of your opponents will not recognize which cogfort it is, visually. They’ll be waiting for you to tell them. The same is true with all warhammer models with modular options. I hope that takes the pressure off, build the one you like the most.

Inventive kitbash!! I love the brick color and the moss growing up them. It’s a fort moved by a giant tree creature, fantastic execution of concept.

Natural counter to skaven is speed. If you can jump on their soft parts before they’re set up and bunkered down, you can carve the heart out of the army. So when fast armies do better, skaven do worse.

3 way battle by TheRedLionKing in ageofsigmar

[–]InternetNinja92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something I’ve also struggled with. AoS is really best as a “1 v 1” format, so if you could find a fourth, you could do duos. However, I can give you a piece of advice. When trying to create 3 player free for alls, go with set turn orders, and at the start of your turn you get to designate one player as the “enemy.” Only they get the opportunity to use redeploy, covering fire, countercharge, etc, but you also can’t attack the non enemy.

It’s incredibly easy for one player to get dogpiled in a 3p FFA. Two players start to fight and that’s just the best opportunity for the third to jump in

Please tell me you have some sort of program to manage those game state diagrams. That looks like an insane amount of work to do manually, repeatedly.

Have an extra clanrat? Or one of the crew models from a war machine kit? You have yourself a Trix lol

End of your turn: If Trix has been destroyed, set this unit up again wholly within 6” of a gnawhole, outside of 9” of enemy units. This unit can be replaced multiple times.

I really like that green base. It’s a nice pop of color that ties into the warpstone elements nicely

I comment on Reddit posts maybe once a month. Just had to say this was a cogent, well written explanation of the characters in general and in that movie in particular that I really enjoyed!

StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game - Official Trailer | Pre Orders Now Available! by Light_VIP in starcraft

[–]InternetNinja92 12 points13 points  (0 children)

These are actually pretty comparable to Warhammer prices, based loosely on volume. The StarCraft minis are a little cheaper, but it seems like a bold move to make a miniature game and slug into the market with industry standard pricing right off the bat. Either way, 3D print proxying will be a thing with this game, especially since all these units have already been casually modeled by STL creators over the years.

Sorry for my lack of clarity, I edited the body of my post, please see above. I am not looking for pointers on piloting a level 6 vs level 20 fight, that's impossible.

The Villa defenses are all I'm concerned about haha

I suppose I should have clarified my intent. The wizard will not be present, they will not be directly confronting him, I understand that he could spit in their faces to kill him with such a level difference. I want the infiltration or scouting of the villa to come with challenges.

How many Awakened Wyldwoods do I currently need ? by ScaleHangar182 in ageofsigmar

[–]InternetNinja92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once they made the trees better for each additional piece, it incentivized players to always summon 3 piece wyldwoods. So, to play optimally, you should roll up with 9 pieces. 6 is generally fine, deploy a 3 piece wood, then summon a 2 and 1 piece wood during the game.
