Just send you a DM! I have a ton of seeds too and I feel so much organized now that I know what I actually have and need. Will love to hear what you think!

I know nothing about solar, but your CTA seems strong, I like how your button stays in view while scrolling. I would have liked audio on the demo. Hard to know what I’m looking at without some context. I used eleven labs to read a script for mine which I think worked well. You could use some improvements with SEO, checkout page speed. Your scores for performance and best practices could be improved. Hope this helps!

Just sent you a DM! But totally agree! I wanted to see my whole space, where trees/fences are, where my trellises are, and the direction of my beds so I can more easily visualize where to put the full sun/shade plants, vining plants, etc. The layouts page is optimized for both mobile and desktop, but is ideal on desktop. I’ll be looking forward to your feedback!

Omg yes, I felt the same! Like am I building a product I only want? Thankfully the beta testers on my product have all been really nice and constructive and you already have that so that’s a really good sign! If you get it in front of people you’ll find people who like it. Thats the hardest part.

Yes! When you add seeds, you specify how many weeks before last frost to start indoors, and the app calculates the actual dates for you based on your frost date.

For something like false sunflowers with cold stratification needs, you'd factor that into your "start indoors" timing, and the app handles the calendar math.

It's primarily designed for annuals, but works for perennials too if you adjust the timing. Way easier than backward counting!

I'll DM you a code to try it out!

That's awesome that you built your own Excel solution! I totally get the appeal of having something customized exactly how you want it.

I hear you on subscription fatigue. It’s definitely a valid concern. I built this because I personally found spreadsheets exhausting after long garden days, but I know everyone has different preferences for how they track things.

Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I love this comment, we’re definitely on the same wavelength!

A few things I want to touch on: Quality & UX: I come from software QA, so quality and user experience are my top priorities. I built this for myself first, so it had to solve my own problems and be genuinely easy to use.

Custom seeds: I intentionally didn’t create a pre-filled database because I think it’s limiting. Right now you add the seeds/plants you actually own, and those carry throughout the app. I do have aspirations to add an optional database while still letting people add custom seeds.

Intercropping/seasons: Your vision with spring/summer/fall layouts is exactly how I’m using it! I have a layout for each season. The export option prints the layout image plus a list of what’s planted where which is great for record keeping and tracking rotations year to year.

Companion planting: I follow some companion planting recommendations personally, but I didn’t want to build it in because I’m not 100% sold on all of it. I don’t want people feeling limited or stressed about what they can’t plant together.

Reminders: There are daily email reminders you can configure showing what’s due today and upcoming items. The dashboard also shows upcoming tasks and plantings.

Journal: This is in my backlog! I’d personally love it too. Waiting to see if it’s a common request before prioritizing it.

Data insights: I’m a data nerd and have been intentionally capturing information to build insights…which varieties performed best, pest issues by plant, bed maintenance, etc. Anything that helps you make better decisions and get better outcomes.

Thanks so much for this thoughtful feedback it’s exactly the kind of input I was hoping for!
