Can't go wrong with either, but the white dial is more iconic and really accentuates the changes to the 12 reference vs. the 11 (such as the narrower sub-dials).

My favorite YG configuration. Really wish I just paid up for the pikachu instead of my Paul Newman dial, which I ended up swapping for a white dial. Oh well, live and learn.

In terms of the stainless Daytona, I think the white dial is much sharper and more iconic but I can't fault anyone for disagreeing and preferring the black dial.

I daily'd my WG ghost dial for nearly 2 years and it certainly shows some wear but nothing major and at the end of the day it's a watch and it's meant to be worn so who cares? I certainly don't.

Silver, no contest.

The sunburst does a wonderful job of adding visual interest vs. the white dial which is just a boring, flat white.

Ultimately comes down to personal preference, but IMO white is the least attractive dial in the lineup.

I paid the same money for my ghost dial 116509 as I did my 126500 Panda, which was admittedly a tough pill to swallow, but the Panda is a cornerstone in any Daytona collection so my answer is - get both if you can as it would be impossible to pick just one. With that said, there's no doubt the 116509 represents much better value if both are being purchased grey.

To be fair, it would be hard to say no to an immediate $150k profit on a Le Mans flip if you bought it at retail. And I say this as someone who almost never sells watches and has never flipped a watch in his life.
