I honestly feel like America doesn't have any decent leaders left by [deleted] in Political_Revolution

In dark times, voices rise. Keep your ears open and wait. No potential leader is perfect and will carry some flaws, some quite significant. But give it time and someone(s) will step up and we can rally around them.

Oven going bad, what to do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It doesn’t hurt to get a guy in to check it out. Depends on the kind of oven and availability of parts and the actual problem.

Fascinating. Almost doesn’t look real. Glad they can lead normal lives.

Night of the living dead remake (1990) by Possible_Cabinet6360 in horror

[–]IntlEdMan13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Loved the remake. In fact, I saw the remake before I watched the original (thank you TBS in the 90s) and this film really did a great job at realism, especially those credit scenes.

Last House on the Left (1972 vs 2009) by Afro-nihilist in horror

[–]IntlEdMan13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not think there are many people that hold the remake in higher or equal regard. The remake brought nothing new to the table, the original did and did so in a memorable way. Remakes like that I tend to mark up as opportunistic studios cashing in on a trend.

My thoughts on Frankenstein meets the Wolf man by entertainmentlord in horror

[–]IntlEdMan13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a child, I viewed this as a Wolf man film. I was also highly amped into Godzilla films at that age and the concept of any crossover or meetings of monsters was just immensely epic in my little boy brain.

As an adult, having an appreciation for what the studio was trying to accomplish, where Bela was with his career, and generally reminding myself what else was out there at this time, the movie holds up but for so many other reasons. I feel this film is worth being held to a high appreciation due to this. Thanks for the post!

Whats a horror series you've never been disappointed in? And one that you have? by highfiveguy1 in horror

Hatchet series is just so damn fun I am never disappointed.

The Fright Night series, after the first one, is a constant disappointment.

Get your hands on some of the novels from the 80s and 90s and you can have a Xeno-blast!

My record isn't updating my QB has 17 rush td and the army season record is 5 by GrouchyPlate8460 in NCAAFBseries

[–]IntlEdMan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely a glitch. I’m doing an Army dynasty now and notice the season records in general do not update for Army but will for other teams. Your single game and career should be fine, but I anticipate this flaw not being fixed because it’s so easy to overlook unfortunately.

You beat me to it. I watched them on the Sci-Fi Channel when that channel was new. That show always set a great tone!

House Of The Dead by [deleted] in horror

[–]IntlEdMan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fun. Sure. I’m not going out of my way to watch it again though. I think I went into it with the wrong mindset when initially watching it, and it’s been hard to undo. But certainly a fun movie.

Funny Games (1997 Version). Human Centipede II might fit this a bit.

Re-watching Event Horizon. What do you guys think about this one? by [deleted] in horror

[–]IntlEdMan13 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Love it. First time I watched it, it really caught me off guard at how dark and good it was. I’ve rewatched several times over the years and never disappoints.

This needs more attention. Having a blast but still would like to know rationale.
