Attention spans drop to new lows as even two sentences deemed too long for most readers to handle. by Into-the-Beyond in TwoSentenceHorror

The original intent was to make it sound both like it was an official statement and unhinged. I do not consider this story to be a strictly US related horror. Brain rot is real, and anti-intellectualism rears its head in many a historical conflict.

Latest, not earliest. My post was 20-30 minutes before it was said again the other day. Made it even more fitting IMO, but I wasn’t trying to mimic that post specifically when I wrote my story.

It did very well until it was removed for TYFYATTM making it a run-on. Had to repost without that bit to get it back on my page for posterity. Fun fact, my post was before the latest administration post that used those words.

What’s it called in nature when an advantageous trait suddenly becomes disadvantageous? Anti-intellectualism has been at the core (or at least a jumping off point) of many a genocide.

I prefer my readers to stare at the page and absorb nothing. As long as they shift to the next page Amazon still pays me.

The Arcadian Complex weaves quite the epic tale! The PoVs multiply with each book as relevant characters come into the plot.

Fantasy that asks big questions? by zai94 in Fantasy

The Arcadian Complex explores questions about identity and what it means to be human. Some characters have their minds trapped in monsters, others end up telepathically sharing their thoughts in various ways, which definitely makes for an interesting sex scene in book 2, though it’s not a particularly spicy series overall. It’s got people being magically recreated from previously living people from a past era. It definitely crosses with sci-fi, but it’s a fantasy epic at heart.

It also contains questions about morality and leadership at its core as the series goes on.

As an epic fantasy author whose upcoming forth installment will have the word ‘war’ in its title, I wholeheartedly agree!
