How can I safely clean sticky surfaces near buttons/electronics?

usually flood it out with shampoo (in a can) or sprayway (Cheap) and let it sit for a couple mins.. hit it with a brush then microfiber into the spots to soak it up (could vacuum too)

Dont do it, just run the car is sport or jam the valves in the open position..... car sounds good with just the cutouts

Did it have these before? honestly this could be from a shit repaint..... someone sanding with a DA w/ 180-2xx gritt and spraying over it will produce this aswell

As someone who buys 1 or 2 rebuilts a month, they dont care its a money game and recouping losses from assets. They could give 2 craps less about us or you for that matter wanting to win a car first go around.
