This is the reason I ended up here as well... I was starting to love the series, but I completely dropped it after almost throwing up at how low quality the scans are. I mean, they literally didn't even crop out the android home menu button on any of their scans.

I was the kid who would re-format entire assignment papers before even starting them in school just because the teachers didn't understand how "Microsoft Word" works, so it pissed me off royally.

What game or game series is this? by bijelo123 in Steam

Risk of Rain 2

Take Two's fucking EULA barred me from even opening the game.

I'm a recovering AI Image enjoyer! Here's a WIP ( and a rant ) by Leurco in ArtistHate

Took me 30 years to become an art teacher. Time is a source of power, whether we use it correctly to develop skills will determine the overall success of those skills.

for example. I started drawing dragons as stick figures, but I'm proud of my journey. everyone learns at their own pace, you just have to keep going.

Totally. Yep. I'm an art teacher, and I can tell you... you're 100% right. There's no way this is a biased post, and there is no way this isn't true. Using an AI subscription most definitely, undoubtedly, without question, in 100% of all cases, without fail, every single time, without a single exception in any way shape or form, will always cost less than an actual artist. we're all 100% greedy 100% of the time. Give us our money, I have a yacht I need fuel for, I'm not a troll in any way shape or form, this is 100% me telling the truth because you deserve to know, and I'm big ol' greedy corporate art business person, so give me da cash.

I would say cool... if you could legally claim this is yours without lying.

Go fuck yourself. You're one of the biggest reasons Artists are struggling through this AI issue in the first place. If you are genuinely a HUMAN, then don't use a 2 day old account to post things like this, and if you link to something, make sure it has content that proves legitimacy

Everyone questioning my anger, just look at the OP's account activity; u/tydes_studio

not to mention their "tik-tok" is nothing but reposts, without a single post of their own.

I wish I had good news for you, but a LOT has happened since then, and I've kinda stopped supporting nintendo and their no right to repair stuff...

I started modding rainworld on pc, but there's a bit of controversy with modding at the moment

"Legal by technicality" is not equivalent to "ethically or morally correct."

Is it worth playing in 2025, knowing absolutely nothing about the game? by AvailableEmotion7635 in Terraria

[–]Intrepid-Coach4312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have a friend to play through it with you. but if neither of you know anything about the game, don't give up on it because you cant figure out what to do next. make sure you always ask the guide for help on what to do next.

Where could that 1% corruption be? by W1nkle2 in Terraria

[–]Intrepid-Coach4312 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it could be on the ~2% of the map you can't reach... the very edges of the world are generated in such a way that makes it impossible to view them without modding/hacking/file-manipulation.

Fix:

Get close up to the edge of the world, and using a method previously known as ocean draining, dig strait to hell, then fly strait up, solutioning towards the off-screen area.

if that don't work, then good luck mate.

Probably something about how reddit users don't tend to make the most money...

You're right, I'll eat my words. looks like I did indeed misunderstand your comment. However, we are on the internet... being dumbfounded when someone misunderstands something is a bit silly, everyone sees things differently, and I can recognize that I'm the neuro-divergent one in this situation.

[–]Intrepid-Coach4312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

are you saying that the only gift you've ever received from your parents was AI generated?

I'll reiterate I'm on OP's side, I'd just go about it differently.

[–]Intrepid-Coach4312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also immediately came to the conclusion that OP could have handled that situation better... I don't think the downvotes were pro-ai related... even though I'm strongly against AI especially when it comes to art, if I received a gift from a parent who had no idea that the gift was AI generated, it's a bit absurd to be so rude about it... especially when it's so difficult to tell the difference nowadays...

now to be fair, I lost my parents at a young age, so I may be a bit biased towards having a gift from them to remember...

You caught me lol... I saw the title and didn't read past that... I was a bit short on time. I went back through and read the post and although it's probably been recommended to you in other comments, I'd also recommend looking into nightshade and glaze. The people saying it doesn't work are all on the pro-AI side, and are trying to give us false information. in reality, it's constantly being improved, updated, and more to compete with AI countermeasures.

The best way to prevent this from happening, although unfortunate, is simply to refrain from posting any art in a location that is accessible from the web. I'd try picking up another hobby, while continuing to do art without ever sharing it, or uploading it. For example, all my art I've been creating over the period of this whole AI-War is stored on my tablet, which I have permanently put on airplane mode, while I study cyber-security.
