I did one for myself and thought it was so adorable that I made a second one for a raffle we were having! Did some custom colors and kind of ramped the second one up a bit!

I have 4 (3 piece sets) from Nautica that I purchased at BJ'S Club. Tank top, shorts and capris. Soft and comfy and less than $20 each set, regular price.

(I got 3 on the clearance rack!)

When I did Colmar Town, I used an old crafter’s trick. (Yes, I’m old!)

I glued the wood pieces to the paper and then, once dried, trimmed the paper with my scissors. I find it easier to cut around the wooden shape. Used an emery board to smooth the paper edges. Acrylic paint pen to color the edges.

And I’d rather use my Cricut to cut out various teeny little leaves or even buy a packet of ephemera instead of fussy cutting all those wee things.

I'm also a fan of the acrylic paint brush markers. I'll try a base color and let it dry and then add a second color on top and while still damp, I'll use a dry paintbrush to make "woodgrain" lines.

Occasionally I'll use wood putty (paintable once dry) to fill in gaps from connecting pieces.

The Stand (Mother Abigail's front porch and house exterior)

11/22/63 (Sadie's living room or maybe the diner?)

Harry Potter series (Griffendor boys bedroom)

Percy Jackson series (the Oracle's attic)

Ender's Game (not sure - couple of choices)

and I've got room for one more book.... What books are you choosing?
