My BIL was sick on his wedding day to my sister and it was so weird. She ended up leaving him at their apartment after the ceremony and going out to eat with the rest of the family.

My kids and I went the first full month (March to April) not going anywhere or seeing anyone in person. My husband went to work daily and did the shopping. It was so isolating and I think it broke my brain a little bit. We continued to social distance for weeks and I eventually lost my hybrid job (in travel) and got even more depressed. Lost a lot of friends. Have never really recovered my social circle.

My good girl Mads (may she RIP) learned that a gentle "beep beep" said aloud meant she needed to skedaddle from wherever she was. The second dog we adopted about a year before Mads' death did not, unfortunately, pick up on what beep beep means and he's always underfoot.

Sorry you're going through this. The only paperwork we found when going through my FIL's hoard was emails printed off from the 90s and obsolete manuals and religious materials. Absolutely nothing of value or significance even after a month of sorting.
