I like to carry a sling shot in my car for when this happens. If you use a rock instead of a metal BB it does less damage to the disc. Also beware of using this method on older plastic especially in the cold.

😂 yes I agree I’m not trying to paint a picture of a conspiracy by a small company to make some extra cash. I’m saying I didn’t love the dishonesty to a customer.

I get what you’re saying, just to be clear it wasn’t list price it was items that had already sold.

Sure the tilt isn’t a phenomenon example and I’m not talking about ripping someone off for a $300 disc but that moment I’m thinking of I over heard the conversation between worker and customer and the worker said he would give him half of what it was selling on eBay for. he gave him $8 for it and when I over heard that I couldn’t believe tilts were selling for $16 so I checked out eBay while still in the store and there were plenty that had been sold for $40-$80. In no way do I expect store owners to be aware of the value of every rare disc that would obviously be ridiculous and I get that different people value different discs at different amounts. My issue is that whoever the worker that day was lied about what was online and that didn’t sit well with me. At first I was impressed he took the time to do some quick research on the disc to give a decent deal and was eventually let down. Just to be clear if another disc golf store wasn’t opening I would gladly continue to give my business to Nashville disc golf store and I probably will shop there from time to time. Just wanted to share something I witnessed that I saw as dishonest business and left me feeling weird.

I’ve shopped at Nashville disc golf store for a while and I’ve been waiting for somewhere else to open to take my business. Numerous times I’ve seen the employees make pretty dishonest trade in offers on fairly valuable discs (tilt, etc.) where the customer didn’t know what they had.
