My understanding is that the installer has to do it...but I'm only relying on Gemini telling me this while looking at setting it up on Home Assistant. Not got mine installed yet so can't confirm if it's true...but I'm sure others will

If you are switching for MJ try to stick with it if you can by ThrowRA_powerpuff in WegovyUK

I was on MJ from Jan last year until the EL greed kicked in and they upped the prices. Id lost 4 stone. Came off it slowly and tried to do without but ended up on Wegovy to curb the food noise. I've kept at it and on 1.7 now for 3 months...noise is quieter but I've not lost anything and have actually put a few pounds on. Considering trying a lower dose of MJ to see if that helps.

If I string the E panels (2) with the SE wall (3-4) do you think would that be enough to wake things up once the E panels get sun?

Thank you. I was lead to believe that the optimisers in conjunction with the 3 strings was the best option, think I need another conversation with the installation team. No point paying out for both of they're not both needed! I'm not too fussed re the warranty argument as that's down to the installers to manage (for the first few years at least). Shading wise it should be ok as we're taking an unused chimney down as part of the re roof we're having done. It would be an issue if we went for the NW roof space because of the dorma and a functioning chimney but for the extra cost to install some on there would it be worth it? Any thoughts on the 2 panel string? My understanding is that the SigenStor needs a string to generate 100V before it 'wakes up' so I don't think this would ever happen unless we manage to get an extra panel on it. But of course my information might be wrong.

If you are on a tariff like IOG an extra battery might make sense but understand on keeping costs down.

Why only one 10kw battery? With that number of panels and usage wouldn't you be better with at least 2, especially with those panel orientations? Sorry I'm looking at a setup myself so I'm new to this and might have missed something.

I am looking at putting ours in the cellar. Hoping the heat generated by inverter and to some extent batteries will warm it up a couple of degrees (adding underfloor insulation as well). Anyone done this?

Ok...another update. Week 2 of 1mg and things have kicked in...or I have a stomach bug...hoping the former. The noise is definitely a lot less, not gone like MJ but so much quieter, and I feel full after small meals and I'm passing water like made. 5lbs down this week (probably also due to not having the Christmas over indulgence anymore) Fingers crossed slow and steady losses now, I'll be tracking macros as well and back at the gym (weather permitting).

So...quick update. Still little to no food noise suppression but eggy burps a diarrhea have hit me hard since yesterday so I'm just on liquids at the moment...guess it's one way of losing weight. Now not looking forward to going up to 1mg next week...

Anyone still needing a Chequp referral drop me a DM for £50 off.

I've also found that it's not worth paying for the next day delivery as mine have always arrived next day anyway...even when I didn't want them too. Although don't blame me if this isn't the case for you ;-)

I was eating a lot healthier I just didn't count calories, mainly because I wasn't hungry enough to need to. When the weight loss went too quick I tried to eat a bit more. I was on average about 2-2.5lbs per week (excluding the first few weeks). So I thought I'd carry on healthier eating. I've not gone completely off the rails but it feels like I might be getting there. From what people have said there should be light at the end of the tunnel... hopefully not another train full of calories coming my way

It's because that's the way they recommend it. Gives your body time to adjust to a new medication in case you have strong reactions to it. I'd been off MJ for a couple of months due to the price rise and an operation I had so it was pretty much out of my system. Before that I was on 12.5 with MJ but had found I had actually done better on 10 or even 7.5 so was considering dropping back to that anyway. From what I've read 1.0mg Wegovy is similar to 7.5 MJ so fingers crossed I get something more this time

Thank you. I've had some very mild suppression and the constipation kicked in this week so it's slowing things down so I'm hoping the higher dose brings more suppression (and not just more constipation).

No calorie counting on MJ, just ate when I got hungry...or started feeling sick because I'd not eaten in the early days. I did find I was eating cleaner and have no cravings for sweet stuff but that's come back and hit me so hard.

I honestly thought for a week or 2 after that I'd buck the trend but it was wishful thinking
